Dr. Coker was very amicable, instructive and attentive. He released tendon constrictions inafflicted fingers over many years with good results. He also also removed an arthritic bone at the base of my painful thumb and attached it in a manner that makes it completely as useful as it was before, with no pain.

Avoid Dr Coker at all costs! He will not listen to your concerns as he assumes that he knows all. My spouse specifically requested general anesthesia but when we got to there for the surgery he said we were only scheduled for local anesthesia. Now we have to come back again in 2 weeks for the surgery, meanwhile my spouse remains in a great deal of pain. He is very rude and will not even sit down to talk to you. When you call him out for ignoring you he gets flustered and angry. If you have orthopedic issues, find someone else, anyone else!

My son broke his arm and saw Dr. Coker. He was so patient, empathetic, and kind to my son. He had a great experience with Dr. Coker and his team. They made my son feel special and well taken care of. He had to go under to set his arm and was very nervous. Dr. Coker and his team took special care with my son and made sure he was as comfortable as possible, and knew what to expect during the procedure. I will refer Dr. Coker and his team to anyone :-)

I was in a great deal of pain on my index finger in my baby finger. The job that he did improve the quality of my life, The surgery when as he has told us. It's been over five years now you never had a problem. I thought his bedside manner and his staff were very professional and I'm very thankful. Now for a bad thumb this is why my review was so long I just saw the review section. Also my brother has had surgery with Dr. Coker also very successful with him too.

I have seen Dr Coker over the years approximately 4-5 times. I found him to be knowledgeable, courteous, personable and very trustworthy. I will continue to see him. He's helped and resolved my issue at each visit.

Because I felt he had the experience to operate on my thumb, for a degenerated joint, I tolerated his distant bedside manner. After surgery and appropriate healing time of 3 months, something was wrong. The pain had actually increased and shifted to broader locations. It took a full year before I regained measurable decrease in pain and use of my thumb. Now a year and a half later, two other doctors have recommended surgery for bones that are grinding together.
