Dr. Kyli Krape, DO

Dr. Krape was the emergency doctor when I took my 9 month old son in for a visit after he had symptoms of an infection. She never introduced herself to us and didn’t spend enough time to understand what he had… After his flu, Covid and respiratory test came back negative. She wanted to send us home with some Acetaminophen and ibuprofen.Because my son was born with a condition that makes him prone to UTIs, I asked her if she thought it could be an infection and if he could be tested, her answer? She rolled her eyes and said “ Which infections do you want me to test for?”. I was so shocked: first she was rude and then acted very condescending and as if my concerns were not valid. After the test for urine culture came back negative. I did go home, but did not give the ibuprofen to my son because I could visibly see it was making him worse. Dr. Krape was awesome! She answered all my questions and was extremely kind, patient and efficient. I left Fair Oaks ER department feeling much better than I did going in thanks to her.

Went out of her way to accommodate my needs. Kind, understanding, and rational. Couldn’t ask for more.

Saw Dr. Krape at the Inova Fair Oaks ED. She was kind, compassionate and understanding. She listened to my symptoms and engaged me in conversation. Unlike a lot of doctors who "have all the answers" and talk over you. Thank you Dr. Krape for getting my UC under control.
