Dr. Foster is excellent on all these items!

Dr. Forgot to order blood tests BEFORE the appointment, so she was not able to tell me anything about how I was doing. So basically I drove 1.5 hours for nothing. Very disappointing.

Dr. Foster is very, very knowledgeable about my condition. She seemed better prepared and more thoughtful than my previous physician at Duke. She is matter of fact and has little small talk. If you want a great doctor, Dr. Foster is fantastic. If you need a person to listen to your other problems for thirty minutes, you should probably find another doctor, or get a dog.

Dr. Foster is always excellent with providing opportunities to discuss problems, listening well, and giving good answers and explanations.

My oncologist gave me the results from my pass bloodwork, Valcade shots & Zomacck infusion which were good. She gave me pointers to help ease the pain or stiffness in my knees ( 1 knee had the knee replacement & the other one need it).

Dr. Foster was very informative and concerning. Explaining all options was wonderful.

I highly recommend Dr Foster to everyone going thru cancer. She is the most caring physician I have ever had in my dealing with cancer. She truly cares about me as a patient, intelligent, knowledgeable and wants the best treatment she knows how to give me dealing with this dreaded cancer.

I am grateful for Dr. Foster professional and caring manner. She patiently answers all of my questions and she seems genuinely concerned about my wellbeing.

Dr. Foster is well-versed in the latest drugs and treatments and takes an empathetic and practical approach to treatment. I have met several times with her, accompanying a loved one with multiple myeloma. She takes time to answer questions, explains options and steps for treatment. Her explanations appear well thought out and I get the sense that she is very personable and considers each specific case relative to the individual and not just a "cookie-cutter" approach to treatment. Do your research ahead of time as a patient and don't be afraid to ask questions. She will be candid, tactful, and very respectful and practical with her answers.

My condition does not allow me to be fully healthy again. In fact, I am dying. But Dr. Foster is my hero. She is passionate about my care. She cannot cure me. Science has not moved that far, but she can extend my life to as long as science allows. She makes my life the highest quality it can be. She cares. She rocks.

I would not trust a loved one or family member with this provider. She lacks compassion compared to other hematology oncologists.
