Dr. Laerrol Johnson, DDS

My daughter, 21 yrs old, was in pain and we knew her 4 wisdom teeth needed to be removed. The staff and Dr. Johnson were able to schedule a visit during her college break. They were very professional, explained every detail including the dental procedure and billing, and my daughter felt at ease. I highly recommend!

Dr. Johnson and his staff are very unprofessional. I do NOT recommend going to this clinic. Not only did I have to call the clinic multiple times to obtain pre-op instructions, they also tried to charge an additional $1000 to the procedure last minute. The original total was $1800 and 7 minutes before my daughters procedure they emailed me and notified me that I would have these additional costs. In addition to this last minute charge, they then proceeded to tell me about their internal staffing issues and how someone failed to do their job which was why I was receiving the last minute $1000 charge. Very last minute staff and super unprofessional. I wouldn’t take my worst enemy here and trust them to do a honest and professional procedure. Complete scam. I ended up going to another clinic where it was clean, professional, and honest and was charged $1300 total. No nonsense, no scams to billing insurance, and no unnecessary additional charges. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

I normally get quite nervous going to the dentist and oral surgery is an entirely different story. However Dr. Johnson made me feel quite comfortable from day one of meeting him. His concern of my comfort and ease of extracting a wisdom tooth was explained in detail and that’s exactly what he delivered. In addition to sharing a possible concern with my dentist, showed me he cares about his patients, he loves what he does and that he focuses on the entire mouth. Thank you so much because you didn’t have to do that!!! Extraction Day - I remember listening to Al Green, Dr. Johnson coming into the room then the gentleman awakening me. ( I’m sorry I forgot his name) The post care was easy to follow and I had no issues. By the following week I was ready to go on vacation:) Hopefully I won’t need additional dental work/surgery however if I did I would definitely contact Dr. Johnson’s office again! He has a great staff and I appreciate everything.

Best Oral Surgeon ever! Never been so relaxed and at ease before, during, and after my appointments.

I'm not sure what kind of scam this office is running, but they supposedly couldn't find my insurance (I have BCBS and Delta Dental) then they tried to tell me I'd need to pay out of pocket. *I* had to give them the phone number for Delta Dental. Really? This is a dentist office, they do this all day every day, and Delta Dental and Blue Cross Blue Shield are HUGE. All of this 1 hour before my appointment, and I had been waiting *2 weeks*. They couldn't have checked any time in those two weeks? Yes they could have. They're running a scam. I bet they make more money getting people to pay on credit card than being reimbursed from insurance.

Today Dr. Johnson removed my son’s wisdom teeth and some mass. He explained everything and his aftercare was amazing. The overall experience was pleasant & his staff is amazing.

I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson. Everyone was very kind and helpful, they were easy to get in touch with when trying to make appointment and then there after. Dr. Johnson has a great bedside manner -taking time and easy to talk to, which made my daughter feel comfortable.

A waste of time. I was given the run around from both of his offices BRIARGROVE and the Institute in Sugar land. I will not return to either location. In considerate of people time.

Incredible surgeon - very thorough and makes sure you understand what, where, why, and when!! The support staff (Anna) is awesome! I recommend Dr. Johnson for any oral surgical needs.

Very thorough, kind, considerate, definitely seems to know his "business", recommended others who would have to take part in my treatment. I broke down into tears & was so frightened after a dog ruined my mouth he was so understanding. so sorry that I was not able to finish working with him. Had to return home 1200 mi away.

He was AMAZING, so funny, I brought both my children. My 9 y/o had surgery for an extra tooth, He put her to sleep before he even did the IV. My 17 y/o had to have a molar removed but he didn't recommend an implant like another dentist did and gave me resources so that I could look up for myself. I wanted what was best for my child and he didn't try to use that against me. If you are looking for an oral surgeon for your child, He is the one to go to!

He made me feel very comfortable. He has a great personality. Very friendly.
