I used to like Dr Polavarapu. She's been my doctor for at least 7 years. The past 2 years, I feel like the appointments are very rushed and are less than 3 minutes. I made an appt for frequent urination and abdominal. My urine was collected but I had my period. I saw the results in my portal saying sample wasn't clean enough. I never got a calI to redo the test. I was recently hospitalized and the hospital booked a follow up on my behalf. Dr P walked into the room and said I didn't need to be seen by her and wasn't even in the room 5 minutes. I had to ask to have bloodwork done to see if what had me hospitalized was still an issue. I'm switching to a different dr.

Non-caring, rude, rigid, incompetent
I’m on a high dose of adderall and a low dose of suboxone, and for the last 4 years this has allowed me to live my life, secure jobs, and function overall. I moved back to PA to be closer to my mom as she hasn’t been doing too well, nearing 70 years old, lives alone. I was given a lecture about the adderall first, which I had anticipated, but then I was given an ultimatum; stop taking adderall or they would not prescribe suboxone any longer. There was no talk of tapering, just an offer of staterra, which is nonstimulant and I’ve been told by my former doctor that it just doesn’t have a good success rate. So my life has been essentially turned upside down, and I now have to struggle to find a new provider. Hopefully someone a little more understanding. I felt like I was being judged and punished for taking controlled substances. I really didn’t need that, and since they refused to prescribe more than 60mg of adderall without any tapering I have been sleeping 20 hrs a day.

I will never recommend this physician. She was extremely rude, abrupt and did not listen to my concerns. I am a health professional as well and as I expressed my concerns and her lack of regard she had the audacity to laugh about it to me. Did not address why I scheduled my appointment either. I will be changing practices! This is exactly how I felt and has failed me as my pcp she will not listen and will put your life in danger it like a ego trip for her go to her at ur own risk! Question everything she not a good doctor...
