Doctor and staff problematic
This is not a pediatric friendly place, front desk staff are rude, nursing staff and doctors don’t read the charts and everyone comes in asking the same questions because they don’t prep or communicate with each other. All staff, including doctor seem like they are checking a box.Nurse, MA, and MD never once looked at his chart and all did the same thing, asked the same questions, never communicated with each other or looked at our charts. All of this were on the lengthy appointment forms they made us fill out, then wait on them for because “we took too long filling out the forms”. Recommendations were a “borderline”, “probably” result. When I dug into why from the doctor, he had to go into the chart and had few word answers that left me more confused. Office and equipment was old and nothing was tailored to a peds patient.

Inefficient staff
I am on the pathway for a cochlear implant. I saw Dr Jackson on my first visit, short time with him. Next visit was with the PA, Alina. Loved her. DR Jackson ordered an MRI but it took over a month for his staff to send the order in. That was not accomplished until I reached out to the audiologist, Scott, who took care of the inefficiency of the staff. I had another appointment difficulty because of staffing inefficiency. Dr Jackson requested another MRI to be done in September. I have checked with STRIC each week in September and through October The order has STILL not been sent. Does the doctor know how inefficient his staff is? Perhaps he doesn’t care?? I am concerned about choosing him to do my cochlear implant if I have to put up with such turmoil. The staff has created a crisis in confidence for me with regard to the doctor.

Consistently Outstanding Care
I’ve visited EIT for 6 appointments since 2021. I’ve been impressed with the organization of their processes, the constant innovation. The entire staff, from office managers to medical technicians to medical assistants are first rate. All the doctors are TOP QUALITY. Overall Patient Care is Outstanding.

Don’t go!!!!!!
I never met the Dr…not once in 3 visits. I.AM.SUFFERING!! I can barely function….I don’t want a stinkin’ PA!!All they did was schedule/charge for a bunch of test….which came back abnormal but they can’t give me an explanation….oh but certainly….they want me to do their physical therapy….more money for them…why not?!?!Maybe if I…I dont know….actually saw a real Dr (at least one time) when I make a “Dr appointment” I could get an explanation. Insisting to see the Dr does no good…the explanation of he has been taking vacations and won’t be available for 7MONTHS is unacceptable….so I have bills for all their tests….no explanation for why they are abnormal…am suffering…and for what?!?! And DONT get me started on the rude, unprofessional, incompetent office staff!!!Don’t start something you can’t finish….go somewhere else where they can get the job done and you can ACTUALLY see the Dr you are supposed to!!!

New Visit
My initial visit with Dr. Jackson was exactly what I wanted. I felt welcomed, listened to and respected with what my issues were. He was patient and wasn’t staring at a laptop or computer. Very engaging and made me feel he cared about me and my concerns. The entire office has been that way. I saw a different doctor there a few weeks ago and felt I was treated the same way and was listened to.

Very poor responsiveness to the patient
I am writing this review for my son since, as a young adult, he does not like leaving bad reviews. My son's PCP referred him to the Ear Institute for ear drainage and sudden tinnitus. He was told he needed to wait 6 weeks for an appointment. One week before the appointment he called the office to confirm the date and time and make sure there were no issues with insurance. He was told everything was fine. The morning of his appointment the office called him to cancel. He was told the referral form from his PCP did not reflect the correct doctor's name. HE WAS NOT TOLD THIS WHEN HE CALLED THE WEEK BEFORE!! He easily corrected the problem with his PCP and called the Ear Institute back. He was told he had to wait another 6 weeks for a new appointment despite the fact that it was the Ear Institute's negligence that caused his first appointment to be canceled. This is a perfect example of a health care team that has become completely UNRESPONSIVE to the needs of the patient.

I made appointment to see Dr Jackson. Waited an hour and a half only later to learn the doctor was not in. They wanted me to see PA and I did not want to. I have a serious problem and didn't feel comfortable with a PA. Very unprofessional. I hate to give the doctor a bad rating but based on his staff I don't know that I would trust him.
