Condescending and Arrogant
Visit started well with a caring and competent nurse. This doctor abruptly entered the room without introduction and started conversation with the nurse, completely ignoring his patient (me). He then directly challenged me on my reason for coming to the ER. I explained my situation and he continued with a condescending attitude, going as far as to comment on how 'his practice will not be subject to a negative review if it is determined there is no problem.' He left the room and did not return until hours later to state, 'when everything looks okay, we will be sending you home.' It turns out, my test results indicated I had a very serious issue that required further intervention. I never saw him again during that visit. I am not one to write negative reviews. I am compelled to write this one because I have never experienced such a negative and dismissive attitude from a medical professional, especially in the ER which is already a highly charged environment.

He though gaslighting a patient and her daughter when in the ER was the right treatment. He also completely disregarded my mothers concerns about going home, as she's a disabled elderly woman. Totally disregarded her concerns.

If I could give 0 reviews I would
He was very judgemental I went in for pain and he thought I was just there for pain medication after telling me he doesn't feel comfortable treating me several times I had to tell him I wasn't there for that I wanted to know what was wrong with me he basically was accusing me of lying I found out that my name was being used and was trying to tell him he still wouldn't listen to me he has no bedside manners what so ever and just rude I will never use that emergency department ever again it's convenient to where I live but I won't use it I will take the extra 12 miles to be treated and now I just got admitted in the hospital at another location every sickle cell patient don't just want drugs

ER trip
After waiting an hour for him to just come in and look at my son, he treated us like us being there was an inconvenience for him the entire time. We asked him a question on the difference sutures vs stapling have and he responded “one is a staple” in the most demeaning voice ive heard. He left and the nurse had to come in and ask me what he decided on doing 10minutes after he left. I told her (because obviously he didnt) and then she was able to treat my child as needed. After he made his job harder by stapling from the other side that was needed he continued to say he would be back and left us without telling us how to care for this. The nurse came back in with the paperwork (bless her soul) and asked if he told us how to care for it, she explained how to and answered questions. Mind you we got there at 9pm and were there till 11:45pm for one staple. I dont care as much because i understand other people could be in worse conditions, but worst experience ever!
