Dr. Larisa Martin, MD

Dr Martin is probably one of the best doctors at Virginia Mason

I have give her name and location to friends. She is a good, solid provider.

I waited nine months to get in with Dr Martin and am sorely disappointed that I wasted my time. She (and her nurse) not only hadn't read my chart before I came- but Dr. Martin took over 5 minutes to locate my records and then proceeded to argue with me about my stated (and documented) health conditions. When she found out I worked from home, she laughed and said she was 'amazed you're not overweight; most of my other patients who work from home are!' Inappropriate as well as offensive (and I had not brought up weight at all, in any way, that would precipitate such a comment). And finally, she failed to call in a time-sensitive prescription that we discussed, and when I called her office to ask about it, I was told I'd have to make another appt to see her 'because she can't provide a rx for something never discussed.' I have never received such poor 'care' in my life and would not recommend her to anyone in need of support.
