Dr. PETTIT saved my life as he took time to explain and diagnose my acute illness. Kudos to his gracious bedside manner and great staff.

Dr. Pettit is incompetent. Once he ruled out a heart-attack, he sent me on my way. I specifically asked him to image for gallstones, which he refused even with a history of pancreatitis. He didn’t do a urine test either, which was rusty brown and would have shown bilirubin. My gallbladder was incredibly infected, and I had to go into two emergency surgeries the following day at a different hospital. The ER docs at the second hospital could not believe he missed something so simple!

Dr. Pettit performed a cursory examination of me (vitals) following a side impact MVC, but he did not include an actual physical examination of the part of my body where I complained of pain, He did not notice injuries to my lower extremities until a member my family pointed out obvious swelling and bruising out to him. and other injuries were not detected until radiology results came in.
