BAD PRACTICES
NEVER GOT TO SEE DR BIRD. WAS TOLD BY THE NURSE DANNY THAT NO OPENINGS. I WAS SICK AND SHE GAVE ME 2 OPTIONS. 1. GO TO URGENT CARE. WHICH WOULD HAVE COSTED ME 50.00 OR 2. GO GET SWABBED AT ANDERSON. I CHOSE ANDERSON, WHICH ENDED UP COSTING 471.90. MY INSURANCE PAID 117.97 - LEAVING ME A BILL OF 353.93. IF I COULD HAVE GOTTEN IN MY DOCTORS OFFICE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A 25.00 CO-PAY AND INSURANCE WOULD HAVE COVERED THE SWAB. FOR ONE I HAVE NEVER BEEN TOLD THAT THERE ARE NO OPENINGS AT MY OTHER DOCTORS.

Went in 2021, and she moved offices to a lovely building in a professional park across from Walgreens in Maryville, so that addresses most of the criticisms of prior reviews. The doctor and her staff were on time, courteous, listened, and I would highly recommend them.

I have been a patient of Dr. Birds' for over 25 years now. She is the best doctor I have ever seen and been treated by. Her staff is very caring and helpful. I can't imagine having to find a new doctor and pray I never have to. Dr. Bird is truly one in a million.

Dr. Bird seems to be efficient, but I never feel rushed. She answers my questions and asks some of me.

An amazing and kind group of people and medical professionals. Highly recommend for age 0-100+! I read the other reviews, the building is older but it doesn’t negatively impact our experience there at all. I’m not paying to go see the building, it’s the doctor we want to see.

Had a great experience with the office staff as well as Bridgette the Nurse Practitioner. However as some have mentioned before the office is disgusting, I almost walked out. The examination tables have holes in the corners, which can't be sanitary. The place was in need of serious repairs. I felt like it should be located in the back of thrift store or something. I was very disappointed in the office and waiting area, and the nurse, didn't have it together at all, kept asking the same questions that I had on my paperwork, totally not engaged in the process with the patient. The front desk person was awesome, loved her attitude and like I said the the Nurse Practitioner. I sure hope they move to a new office.

I like the Dr but the office is disgusting. It feels like you're in an abandoned building I can't believe they practice in it. The staff is fine. It's a shame if they were in a better building it would make a huge difference.

Dr Bird seems like a decent doctor. She has always been nice, listens, and takes the time to explain or answer questions. However, the appearance of the office is awful and it doesn't feel sanitary. The office staff are OK. They have always been friendly but have experienced incompetency. Scheduling appointments is sometimes difficult, as it is not unusual for the phone to not be answered during hours and voicemails not returned.

I like Dr. Bird and think she is a good doctor. She listens, explains, doesn't judge and will not hesitate to refer if needed. The problem is her office and office staff. The office needs a facelift and cleaning. The office staff are not up to the professional level they should be. It seems disorganized and messy. You will get cut off on the telephone or not be able to get through at all. It is almost as if she has completely untrained people working that are making it up as they go along

Dr. Bird is a good doctor, her staff on the other hand are not so great. The receptionist is rude and quick to blame patients instead of giving good customer service.
