Dr. Laura Davidson, MD

I have been going to Dr. Davidson for over 6 years. She guided me through my triplet pregnancy with care and compassion. Took time to answer all my questions and was very reassuring. She saved my life when a complication occurred after delivery. The staff and nurses are always very friendly. Wonderful doctor!

I first had Dr.Davidson in California. She delivered both my kids, but before that she helped save my life. Her bedside manner is amazing and it’s like talking to your mom. Totally down to earth. So when we decided to move to Texas , she was the first person I looked up. I got an appointment and gladly drove 2.45 hours one way to see her. She even saw my daughter, (who she delivered) for your first female appointment. My daughter felt totally comfortable with her. She has so much experience that I would trust her with anything.

Horrible. I brought up a serious medical condition that I have, and she completely brushed it off like it wasn’t even worth talking about and seemed like she wanted to talk about absolutely anything else but my condition. She was not thorough in any way and was always in a rush. There were never any questions asked about family medical history or my own medical history. She never even took notes when I would try to give her any of my medical information. I called the clinic’s nurse line multiple times about some concerning symptoms I was having, and no one would ever answer. I left voicemails and never got a call back. The office sent bloodwork to a lab and never sent orders along with it, so the blood expired and had to be redrawn. The lab told me they called the clinic multiple times to ask for the orders, received no answer and never got a call back. I called the clinic about it and they said they never got a call from the lab and made up excuses which I don’t believe at all.

I had my child with Dr. Davidson in 2019. I went in for a cesarean. The nurse gave me an epidural. I told her I couldn't feel my legs after getting it then she took the epidural out. At the moment, I went into extreme pain and requested pain medication. The nurse aggressively said I am not giving you nanything. The nurse then began to deliver my child. She was having me breathe incorrectly to the point I was too exhausted to give birth naturally after only a few minutes. We then did a cesarean. The nurse was very rude and racist. A week later I saw Dr. Davidson and told her how my experience and I felt about the treatment I received. She tried to discredit me and make it seem like I was delusional. Also, Dr. Davidson sewed me up terribly from the cesarean. I had never keloided before from previous surgeries until Dr. Davidson. When I asked her does my incision look normal she said yes. Another obgyn had to fixed the incision when I had my second child.

Terrible experience. The whole appt I felt brushed off and like my concerns were silly and didn’t matter. I had to continue repeating things about my concerns so it felt like I wasn’t listened to or taken seriously. The nurse for my appt took me and my concerns more seriously than the Dr did and it was very upsetting. I left feeling embarrassed and very upset and not any closer to getting answers for my very valid and scary concerns.

Everything about my appointments with this doctor was rushed, except for the wait times to see her, of course. Seriously, she would speak so quickly that her words would be jumbled and she would be out of breath. My appointments with her lasted a max of 10 minutes. She acted like my questions were ridiculous. Even the person I brought to the appointment with me noticed how demeaning she was when I asked a question (and they were valid questions, not stupid ones). I guess I wasn't as valuable of a patient because I had Medicaid for my insurance so there was no need to spend any time talking to me.

My daughter suffered through pain for 6 days, a trip to urgent care and then 6 hours in the ER to finally get a diagnosis. She was told to go immediately to see her OBGYN. Called the next day was told to get image disc from ER made a special trip back to the hospital only to be told they can’t read discs at the office they would need the report sent over. My daughter hand delivered the report. The doctor had got called out into emergency surgery and told her they had to reschedule her. Ashley the nurse read her report and said that there was nothing in the report that showed what her diagnosis was and told her rudely if your in that much pain you need to go back to the ER along with we can reschedule you for an appointment 2 weeks from that day. My daughter was devastated and still in pain. Ashley (the nurse) was the most insensitive and rude person she had ever experienced. If you are looking for an understanding and caring environment this isNOT the place.

I feel that she exploited a young me, who didn't know anything about birth control or the costs. I pleaded that I needed an affordable prescription, and I got slapped with a $100 BC packet. I protested but she insisted this was the one I had to have. I didn't know any better. She never listed to my concerns or questions, and always was in and out of the room within 10 mins. Thankfully I trusted my gut after I was struggling to pay up, and never went back to her.

Post birth she was cruel to me. She ripped my legs apart and caused my torn vulva to tear further. She threw needles when I insisted I needed more in depth medical care. She tried to make me leave with placental strands in my uterus. She almost sent me to my death via infection. I had to be in therapy for years after the trauma I suffered at her hands. Do not let anyone you love go to this doctor.

Has to be the worst person I have ever meet she gave my wife cancer by neglect and not caring about her Patients and told us that what a horrible person

That’s the point... I never the visit the doctor yet. My Dr. referral me to her and I made an appointment online and they called me week later saying Dr. Laura wasn’t going to be in the hospital that day. I understood that it’s was around the week of Easter. So I made another appointment online and at first I had automatic telephone call with the hospital to making sure the confirmation with the appointment. 3 hours later the hospital called saying that Dr. Laura wasn’t going to be available. Now let me remind you the next day supposed to be my appointment. Yeah I was upset and disappointed. Because you waited the day before to tell me to reschedule my appointment. Now I have to find another Dr. about my issues and workout an appointment and take off which I have 2 jobs to maintain during this pandemic since my husband lost his job. It’s very hard to do so... I need a Dr. that has time for their new patients.

I scheduled appointment online and then call the office to confirm if they taking my insurance. Front desk person checked and said - yes. After coming to the appointment they said doctor doesn’t expect my insurance .Very unprofessional and disappointed.

I see her for annual visit and she is always very thorough & pleasant!

Dr. Davidson and staff were awesome. Dr. Davidson has excellent “bedside manner,” and seems to truly care about her patients. She was very thorough and made me feel extremely comfortable during my first visit with her. I’m sending my daughter to her in a week. ??

It has been a wonderful experience. I am so happy to be able to have Dr. Davidson and her staffs on my journey to have my first child. Her staff at the office is very efficient. The appointment was always on time and everybody was efficient but very patient. All my questions and messages were answered within a timely manner. I can’t say enough about Dr. Davidson. Dr. Davidson is very caring, knowledgable and respectable. She has wonderful staffs at her office as well as at Tomball Regional Hospital.

I have been using Dr. Davidson for 11 years. I always leave her office happy and at ease. She has the sweetest personality & very informative. Her nurse Ashley is just as sweet. She’s had the same nurse the entire 11 years. She has delivered both of our children. Very pleased with all of her services. Highly recommend!!

Friendly and inviting atmosphere. Dr.Davidson is easy to talk to and has excellent bedside manner.
