Dr. Laura Dickerson, MD

I accompanied my wife to her one and only appointment at Dr. Dickerson's office. Her office never communicated what to expect at this visit, let alone that it was only a consultation. The doctor insisted on drawing labs, even though my wife had a complete panel done the week prior at our PCP. After discussing our financial struggles since her cancer diagnosis last year, Dickerson stated she would submit the claims under one code and if it was denied, she'd try another, if further issues arose, she would write it off. None of that ever happened. Dickerson submitted over 2K worth of claims, never submitted the necessary codes, prior auth, referral, or supporting docs for the claims. We are currently dealing with the headache of appealing the claims with our insurance because neither Dickerson or her staff have contacted us back to resolve this. Dickerson even does a copy paste response on negative reviews on her online profiles. She is very unprofessional and not a good doctor.

Some times I had to wait. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

The lady was very nice. Took her time andexplained everything very well. I was impressed by her knowledge and patience.

A very good visit. My numbers were very good and the Dr. had some good information for me.

The doctors and staff are very friendly. I never have a problem when I go there. It's usually every 6 months.

Received informative detailed personal care at the institute

Almost no wait and the staff were absolutely outstanding. Very thankful my primary care referred me here. They also let me know about preventative testing I was unaware of. I was a heavy smoker for around 35 years, 3 packs a day for 10 years. I'm now scheduled for a lung test to make sure I have no precancerous issues.

I have been treated for the past 8 years. They are wonderful and treated me like I am their only patient. Highly recommend Dr. Dickerson and staff.

The phlebotomist was horrible.She was inept……My arm is black and blue ……picture available upon request.

Dr. Dickerson’s PA was very professional. She explained things well and answered all my questions.

Did not see DrDickerson on this visit. Saw Kate her PA. She was very friendly and explained all my questions to my satisfaction. Did not seem to be in a rush to get me out of the office Although Cancer Center was very busy.

I felt much better after my appointment with Dr.Dickerson. She took the time to answer all my questions and eased my concerns. Her staff is amazing too!

Annual checkup.

Everyone was so nice, everyone treated me just so so good. You have a really really nice hospital and a very nice staff, wonderful people.

I just wanted to say that everything about my experience with the Florida Cancer Specialists has been amazing. Dr. Dickerson is wonderful. The office staff is wonderful. The nursing staff is wonderful. I cannot say how much I appreciate the care that I get and I would recommend it to anybody.
