Rude, Does Not Listen, Combative
We saw Dr. Meyers for my 13yo daughter with chronic knee pain. This was our second visit in about a year. She diagnosed it originally as Osgood-Schlatter's. This year, she changed her mind, said symptoms were not consistent with that, diagnosed as something different, relating to underdeveloped muscles on the inside of the lower thigh. This after about 1 minute of time with my daughter, not listening to her at all. I tried to let her know I had surgery for plica syndrome after 20 years of knee pain. She wouldn't remotely listen to anything I said, and then absolutely erupted when I told her she wasn't listening to us. She told me she listened to my 'whole medical history', which is impossible because she wouldn't let me speak for more than 10 seconds without aggressively interrupting me. Horrible doctor, save your time and go somewhere else.

Dr. Meyers is one of the most intelligent doctors I have ever encountered. She has seen me through all of my broken bones and numerous knee issues. Every time I visited her I was able to ask her anything about my injury/ recovery etc. She’s made it a point during every visit to make sure that I feel included in the discussion and that I feel like a person instead of just a case she’s working on. I have trusted her judgement my whole life, and when I have kids someday I know where I’ll be taking them.

Dr Meyers is one of the finest Drs. we have ever dealt with! My daughter had several injuries during her lengthy soccer career! She has been caring and professional every visit we have had! My daughter wishes she was her general Dr., she loved her so much! She always has my daughters best interest at heart! We love Dr. Meyers!!

Dr. Meyers is far and beyond the worst doctor that I have ever encountered. She was agressive, argumentative and combative. How she is allowed to work with children is beyond me. We had seen her for my (now 1 1/2 year old) daughter twice before at her old practice and she seemed fine. When she moved to Washington University Orthopedics, I figured we would follow the doctor, not the practice, right?! BIG mistake. I didn’t have her records, so she asked me to fill her in. Everything I said to her she argued with. I told her that she had my daughter in a rhino brace and she asked when that was. I told her around 6 months old. She snapped “We don’t put 6 month olds in rhino braces”. Well, after I got home I looked to see, and she DID indeed put my 6 month old in a rhino brace. This is concerning in and of itself. Then I told her she has grown out of it and she said “that is not possible!” Oh really?! Then why has she been through TWO sizes under her care?!

I had an appointment for my 6 year old with Dr Meyers at 8 am . I would assume one of the first few appointments. It took them 45 mins to get back to a room. The nurse asked me a few questions and I told her that I had a video that could show the doctor that would explain the concern I had for my son. The nurse came back in 10 minutes only to tell me that I need to go an get an X-ray done. Totally unprofessional. The Doctor did not even take a look at my son or even come in to talk to me /see th

My 3yr daughter suffered a leg injury on a trampoline. Her leg was casted @ER & we followed up w/ another orthopedic 1 week later who re-xrayed & said that her leg was never broken. For 4 weeks after that we watched our daughter limp. After several other tests & insane amount of worry about the limp, we decided to go see another orthopedic. We feel so lucky that Dr. Meyer had an appointment the next day when we called. She was awesome. Leg was broken 5 weeks earlier. She showed us in orig films.

Worst doctor I have ever been to. She didn't even look at my MRI that another doctor recommended. Meyers told me it was overkill and that I just needed to rest my arm. If she would have looked at the MRI she would have seen that I had a nerve problem that required surgery.
