The Dr did not comment on the metastacized ampullary cancer in my lungs. I made specific reference in my paperwork where to find the tumor as I just had a CT scan done two months prior at Mass General Hospital. The doctor who read that ct scan heads up Mass General's Interventional Radiology dept. If your ct scan is read by Dr Taylor have your doctor find another doctor to re-read the results as it could be a literal matter of life and death

I had an ultrasound done by a new tech which was reviewed/signed off by Dr. Taylor. The results came back suggesting follow up with ob/gyne, who immediately ordered another ultrasound. It turns out the tech had completely missed an 8 cm complex ovarian tumor on my left ovary. Thank goodness she wrongly noted multiple cysts on my right ovary (which was actually fluid in my right fallopian tube) which called for further investigation. It took the ob/gyne's on-staff ultrasound tech only minutes to properly identify all of my organs and note the large mass on my left ovary which turned out to be high grade serous carcinoma. I contested the bill, given the fact the ultrasound was worthless since it needed to be re-done. I was told the complex tumor, with blood supply, must have grown in the span of 6 weeks from first to second ultrasound. Apparently, the "cysts" on my right "ovary", aka fallopian tube, also disappeared in that time. Stear clear. Your life may depend on it.
