Dr. Laura Ziegler, MD

I’ve been battling a unknown chronic health condition for 6 months and have been fighting daily for answers. I’ve made numerous appointments and have seen doctor Ziegler a few times during the process. I almost dread appointments with her because she totally disregards what I’m saying and treats the symptoms as minor although I’ve missed countless days of work and feel like an absolute shell of a person anymore. My faith in health care is nonexistent and of all the people you should be able to rely on for health concerns (your primary care) she makes you feel hopeless. She gives very generic uneducated answers and refuses to do any extra work to dig for answers or to even keep your search for answers going. She fights requests for appointments and makes healing difficult if not impossible. If you get into health care don’t do it for a paycheck. Please.

Dr seems nervous, even a little frantic at times. She does not consistently listen. She has a largely authoritarian practice style. Its like she has already made up her mind and I'm talking to air. Importantly she uses GUIDELINES as blanket policy. Therefore, she is practicing as a technician rather than a physician. I cannot be sure she is capable of tailoring care to the individual. Many patients actually know what is best for their bodies.
