She's terrible, I had to request a change for her to no longer be my doctor. For years she dismissed a slight skeletal abnormality I was concerned about - turns out later I found out it was a symptom of a genetic disorder, not through her help. It took a lot of personal research to even figure out what the abnormality was called medically and then through a geneticist we linked the issues. Apparently, I could have had the skeletal issue fixed when I was a kid, when I initially brought it up, but that's not really feasible anymore as an adult. Additionally, she ignored my request to have a wart removed by cutting it off, she wanted it to be frozen and blistered off, so that's what she did. This led to the warts multiplying and I ended up dealing with that for years. Lastly, she can be dismissive in messages. I requested specific guidance on something and she literally directed me to the kp.org homepage.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Mizock?
I have been going to Dr. Mizock for several years and for over a year have been telling her about symptoms that I have been experiencing. I have my regular visits for diabetes and every time I brought up these new symptoms, her comment was "I don't have time to get into this today." After a year of this brush off, she went on vacation and her fill in took interest and ran some tests that came back Stage 4 Bile Duct Cancer. I can't help but think that something could have been done in the early stage of this horrible disease if Dr. Mizock would have only listened and acted on my symptoms like her replacement did. How many of her patients died because she did not have the time to listen to them? Definitely DO NOT GO TO HER!
