Dr. Lauren Carton, MD

Dr. Carton is everything you want in a pediatrician. She is smart, compassionate, patient and kind. She has taken care of my daughter since birth and my daughter is now a sophomore in college. In addition to praising Dr. Carton, I want to share how professional and kind I found her nursing staff to be. Dr. Carton's affiliation with West Med facilitated fast answers and connections to other medical professionals when needed. I strongly recommend Dr. Carton and her office!

Dr. Carton has been our pediatrician since we had our oldest child 16 years ago. We talked with several pediatricians but Dr. Carton stood apart with her demeanor and approach to her patients. Why we love Dr. Carton is she literally helped save our child’s life. Our oncologist praised her for recognizing a problem with our child and ordering the proper tests. This led to a quick diagnosis and treatment for Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. For two years of chemo and 14 years of “well visits”, Dr. Carton

Dr Carton is a thorough and very knowledge doctor with a great bedside manner. She has a lot of experience and has been amazing with my 2 children who are aged 2 & 5. I would highly recommend her!

We couldn't live without Dr. Carton - we are so lucky to have found her! She handles both normal everyday child illnesses, as well as child-specific special circumstances, equally as amazingly. She has only the best referrals to other doctors when needed. All friends we have reffered to her are equally as happy. My kids LOVE going to see her; they look forward to it, even when they are sick! We can't recommend her highly enough; we wouldn't go to any other doctor.

As always there were no appointments available and left a message for the doctor. Later on Dr laura Carton called me back with Such a negative attitude. She laughed when I said my son had been complaining of an ear ache. She rudely stated that the hours were 9-12. I explained to her that I called then and waited so long with the call center. She asked no questions and was so rude. Told me to go to urgent care. No concern for a sick child and rude. Will never schedule with her.

We LOVE Dr. Carton. She is sharp, open-minded and super knowledgable. Dr. Carton has been all four of my children's doctors for nearly 17 years- and has helped us navigate some really rough patches. I really cannot say enough positive things about her. There is a reason she has the waitlist she does.

15 years of history with Dr. Carton for five kids. She is smart and doesn't overreact. She's efficient, yet takes sincere interest in each child.
