I stumbled upon Dr. Elder out of necessity a few years back. I showed up with 3 pages of documents I had kept about my symptoms. She read through them all, asked a lot of questions, and then ordered up the necessary bloodwork. She had an idea what my issue was and turns out she nailed it. I have continued to go back to her since. I feel she listens and also lets me have an opinion on my care. There is nothing more frustrating than a condescending provider. Dr. Elder is not like that at all.

Dr Elder is an awesome provider , she’s very thorough and always has a listening ear. She takes her time to explain everything in detail . She’s not quick to want to prescribe medications . Thanks Dr Elder keep up the great work and you’re definitely an asset to Ochsner Health System !

Dr. Elder is my new doctor since my old doctor retired. She reviewed all my records and made new recommendations regarding my condition and medications. She was never rushed and gave me her full attention answering all my questions. I left feeling grateful that she will be taking care of me now.
