Dr Hackett is thorough and patient. She takes time to get to know you and build a relationship so she can best advise you in decision making for your child's health.

we saw Dr Hackett for years and we were overall pleased when we had major concerns or sick visits but one thing that I disliked is how hard she pushes vaccines. We always stayed on schedule and chose to delay them and spread them out, but even so, she would try to talk us into doing multiple vaccines at one time Despite our wishes. She would say that kids will develop a fear of doctors by having them return more to get their shots every few months and she would recommend giving a child 4 to 6 vaccines in one visit which is absolutely absurd in my opinion. I often times felt very uncomfortable and she would also push vaccines that weren’t on the California required list for schools. Come to find out that doctors get financial incentives for every vaccine. They get a child so that makes sense now but is still very disturbing. so if you were trying to raise a Pharma free kid in anyway she is not the doctor for you

Dr Hackett came to our pediatrician practice a few years ago and my kids adore her. She is personable, friendly, and great with all 3 kids. I have two teenage boys and they prefer seeing her over other docs they have seen in the past. My daughter also loves her. She talks to the kids like they are people!

Dr. Hackett is personable, relatable, and honest. We appreciate her professional opinion and love the atmosphere she creates. Several times we have recommended her to our friends.

Dr. Laura Hackett seems like a good Doc. We’re new and needing a new pediatrician for our 3 kids and she seems like a nice one to have. For our 1st appt with her for one of our daughters, Dr. Hackett really listened to our child’s issues and talked to us extensively and we had a nice conversation about our child. She seems very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of info and alternatives as well. We look forward to having her as our kids pediatrician.

Dr. Hackett has been amazing for my 8 and 10 year old. She always listens to our concerns and offers solutions. She is also very thorough with her exams and always available for questions via MyChart. Highly recommend.

Dr. Hackett is an outstanding Pediatrician for her thoroughness in looking at symptoms and vitals, her prognosis ability, and her tenacity in following through with the parents afterwards to ensure health results are achieved. I firmly believe this is due the passion for what she does for children. Our son (10 month old) got Covid recently which then turned into an infection. Going on 5+ days with symptoms, we scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hackett. She was able to give us precise symptoms to look out for day by day and identified the infection at the start of it. She followed up with both of us parents subsequently for symptoms check and medication instructions accordingly. We thank Dr. Hackett, MCMG Irvine and the entire staff for their diligence and work towards improving the health of its patients.

Dr. Hackett is by far the most personal and caring Pediatrician we have ever encountered. She takes the time to listen to what is going on. She cares about the well being of my children. She has even on many occasions called my sons specialists to follow up on tests results and make sure we are on the right course of treatment. I have followed her to her new practice even though it is 40 min away from us. I would give her 100 stars if I could.

Very kind, super approachable with lightened mood and atmosphere. My kids chatted with her the whole time, even after being told they need to get some shots!

Dr Hackett is not only thorough but ensures to not only take care of her patient but make sure to check in with the parents and address any questions and concerns we may have. I think she is by far one of the best pediatric doctors I have ever seen. I will recommend her to any family and friends and follow her wherever she goes. She gives everything she has to her job and treats her patients as her own kids.
