Dr. Lauren Im-Imamura, DO

Bed memory. Used her as primary care in Summit Health. She only saw me for less than 15 min in the annual physical. Nothing really checked carefully. She knew from record I had breast cancer 5 years ago and I am following up with my oncologist. Also told her my medication of post cancer care incl vitamin D though no deficiency. She has no part in the care. To my surprise, she billed me for extra services including breast cancer diagnosis and Vit D deficiency! I was shocked and tried to explain and reasoned with her office. Unfortunately I accidentally paid the summit health's bill incl hers. Then how ever I reasoned with them, her office just refused to correct and this is their final words:'we are unable to assist further. As stated, the office reviewed the coding and it is correct. Our billing department had their team of professional coders review and it has been determined as coded correctly.“ Wasted my energy and trust. Run and stay away. Don't be fooled by her 'good' credential.

Dr. Im-Imamura has been excellent in helping me manage my health and has always taken the time to explain my options to me. I feel very confident with my health decisions and feel like i truly have someone looking out for my best interests.

I had been trying to have this doctor call me over a two week period and she never did. I had to make an appointment to speak with her. She told me that she has thousands of patients and that she cannot possibly call all of them back. She proceeded to tell me this is how medicine is practiced now. I prefer to see someone who does not consider me a paycheck and just a number.
