Best physician I've ever seen

Was having my annual Physical and she asked me about some skin tags she seen and ask did I have anything else going on and I told her about dry skin in my ears and I had to pay $144.00 out of pocket because she charged me for commenting on my skin tags and ears. Very unprofessional that you ask about something you seen then charge for it. Could have had skin tags removed for $88.

Honestly, I thought she was friendly during my new patient visit to establish care; however, I received a bill for over $220 for that one visit when insurance was supposed to pay 100% of the visit. Dr. Kathary changed the reason for the visit due to her asking me if anything was bothering me. I told her about a shoulder pain that I was experiencing that I was sure was simply a muscle pull/strain from an exercise program I was doing. Because I mentioned this when she asked, the visit reason was changed and therefore not covered by insurance. Additionally, I was charged for her filing a prescription for me that insurance covers 100%. It was under my understanding that part of being a doctor was writing prescriptions and should not be a separate cost. The major problem I have with all of this is that I was not informed of any of these costs at the time. I feel very deceived and will not be going back. I’ve even talked to the staff and they were not helpful in the slightest.

I was literally crying after finally meeting a doctor who knew about my rare spinal condition. She knew I was in a lot of pain and just might be the best doctor I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot !!!

I'm so glad that she moved to the Murfreesboro, Tn. area. I just love her thoroughness and that she is so easy to talk with. She is the best doctor I have out of the many I see. I have Lupus and I have seen quite a few. She really cares about her patients.
