Dr. Lauren McLaughlin-Abrams, DO

I saw Dr. McLaughlin for consultation, she is kind, compassionate and takes the time to review everything with me. She was willing to review details with my family, answered all questions thoroughly. She takes her time and does not rush.Her MA Kellie returns emails and calls very quickly, very helpful staff.

Extremely hard to communicate with Dr Abrams outside of actual office visits, should you have a question. Dr. Abrams has no Portal . Office visit fees were very expensive to see Dr. Abrams for the purpose of having a prescription refilled. There’s no WiFi available fir patients to use while in the waiting room. Too frustrating and expensive to seek pain treatment from this Dr.

Had my appointment with Dr Lauren Mclaughlin,I got there 15 minutes early just like typical appointment,I have my documents ready before coming to the clinic all I did handed out to the receptionist and wait after half an hour they finally called my name and brought me to the room where I supposed to meet my Doctor,after few minutes nurse assistant showed me to verify my info and mentioned i have my test and she’s getting it and never came back.It took me 45 minutes and I had enough of waiting,15 minutes is enough waiting I had enough and walked out to see bunch of nurses talking in the hallway, I told them I can’t wait any longer “she answered me Oh okay”Like then don’t care.I guess from there I can tell this happens all the time.My point is we got appointment,what is the point? I know Doctors time is important,busy.They shouldn’t make / if they can’t accommodate me on time.God forbid im late, pretty sure they will accommodate the next patient and charge me for being late

After years of trying to get a physician to refer me to a pain specialist, my doctor referred me to Dr. Mclaughlin-Abrams. Trying to manage pain and particularly pain medication through a primary care physician has been a nightmare, so having a pain specialist is critical. She listened to my concerns and was very understanding of my unique bone and joint condition that has riddled me with chronic and debilitating arthritis pain. She has given me pain management options that I hadn't heard of before and through some trial and error, have found what works for me. I am so grateful to her and the trusting and professional relationship that we have as doctor and patient. I know that she truly cares about my needs and helping me to manage my chronic pain. I'm relocating soon and she got me set up with a pain clinic there, so I don't have any lapse is my pain management.The staff are friendly and professional as well. It's easy to get in for an appointment to see Dr. Mclaughlin-Abrams.

I miss seeing Dr. McLaughlin at the Colorado Clinic. She was taking care of me and doing injections for chronic pain. she was very caring and listened to what I was saying and taking care of any concerns. I am not able to continue with her due to the closing of the clinic

I have been dealing with terrible back pain ever since my car accident in the early 2000s. I have seen many doctors for this and found that many just pushed drugs at me and moved me along. Dr. McLaughlin was so different. She took the time to hear what I've been through, did a full physical exam, and involved me in all of the decision making which I really appreciated. I am glad I have finally found a doctor who will treat me like a human. Highly recommend!

I started coming to Colorado Pain Clinic after 5 years of chronic migraines. Dr. Krautsh is amazing but stay away from Dr. McLaughlin! After suffering with another 4 day migraine I was told "don't worry most woman stop having migraines around 50" - so 10 years away I can stop suffering from migraines? When I said current treatment plan was not working for me she made even more referrals for treatment that has not worked, gave me a sample of some sleeping pills and sent me on my way.
