Dr. Lauren Weissmann, MD

Dr. Weissmann at SJFC helped my wife and I have a little baby boy! We were diagnosed with male factor infertility which required us to do IVF. Everything went really well and a little after a year of treatments, we became pregnant with our son. We are enjoying him so much and can't wait to go back next year and make him a big brother!

Dr. Weissmann is the best dr...excellent in her field as well as caring towards her patients. We chose SJFC over after consulting at a chain clinic in the area bc that other clinic is known to reject tougher cases or push you towards donor eggs...just to keep their SART rates up! We are so pleased with our choice. We came in for MFI & a had better than expected results from our egg retrievals. Unfortunately, we ended up facing RPL during our IVF journey. Dr. Weissman went above & beyond to do all possible testing & protocol changes each time to ensure better results next time. Even when we consulted with another RE for a second opinion, Dr. Weissmann was happy to discuss their thoughts & shared why she did or didn't recommend the points that they brought up (vs. most doctors would get all butt hurt). Because we were so confident in her care & were treated with such compassion, we didn't give up & now have our miracle baby! My 2 best friends ended up at SJFC, too & also have babies now!

Dr. Weissmann is amazing. Thorough, caring, intelligent, innovative. She treats you like a person, not a number. She truly wants to help you build your family and she has helped me conceive my 3 miracle IVF babies. We are so grateful to have found her!

Not a fan of her at all. After treatments I had a positive pregnancy test thru my bloodword. I struggled with pcos so we weren't sure when my last period was. So it was between 4 and 6 weeks. Well when I went in for my appt I had dr. Weissman and she told me that I lost the pregnancy. Because there was no heartbeat. But being so esrly it wouldn't of started yet. But I knew I seen growth since the last scan a week ago. I left the office shocked. Reached out to Dr Dana who is the absolute best. Becauze I knew something wasn't rite. She brought me in a week later. Just to double check everything was OK. Here later that day after dana talked to Dr weissman come to find she was looking for a heartbeat because whoever did my chart had me alot further in my oregnancy than I was. So I never lost the pregnancy! And got pregnant on my own!

Please think twice about using SJ Fertility!! On the morning of 12/23/20 received negative pregnancy results by phone. I was heartbroken. After I got the negative pregnancy results I sent an email to the doctors inquiring about my treatment plan, and asking some questions. Within 30 minutes after I sent the email I received a call from office manager Sharon. She said they are discontinuing my treatments! She said this within an hour of me receiving the negative pregnancy test results! She said the relationship is strained, and my needs are over and beyond. She said I can't tell a doctor how to treat me! She was getting loud with me and very condescending. I was crying saying how dare you, I just got the worst news and you’re going treat me like this! During fertility treatments they should be especially sensitive. How they treated me was unprofessional, uncalled for, they didn’t handle my situation with care, and had no regard for my feelings. Beware!!!

Dr. W is the absolute best! She’s extremely professional and compassionate while realistic about expectations.
