My first visit
Two friends recommended Dr. Hysa, but I was worried about the reviews of her staff. There was nothing to worry about. The office problems were already addressed and my experience was a very good one. Both staff and Dr. were a 5 star for me.

Unprofessional and uninterested
Dr. Hysa is unprofessional with no follow through. On Friday, April 22, late afternoon I went for surgical clearance. My EKG was irregular due to an “event”. She said I needed a cardiologist and gave me some names. My surgery was 7 days away. I asked for help securing an appointment. She told me to try and get one on my own, and if I couldn’t, she would help. I freaked out all weekend thinking this “event” could be a heart attack. I called her Monday and asked for help as her cardiologist couldn’t see me for 5 weeks. Dr. Hysa never called back. Zero help. Her office called on Wednesday with the name of another cardiologist. She’s useless. Thursday, (day before surgery) her office called and said I was NOT cleared for surgery and was NOT to show up at the surgical center. Unbeknownst to her I got in to see a cardiologist, had tests, bloodwork, he conferred with my orthopedist, cleared me for surgery, and I was confirmed with the surgical center. Hysa has yet to follow up with me.

I visited the doctor the week of November 22, 2021 to review testing results. I have been having check pains and the doctor ordered a CTA chest PE study for a possible embolism. I received calls from both my regional hospital and the diagnostic center on Friday of that week (following Thanksgiving) that were to perform the studies. Both said the doctor had failed to sign the orders therefore they could not perform the studies without her signature. I tried reaching her Friday and her answering service said that the office was closed for both Thursday and Friday and that there was no way to contact her. My only option would be to go the the emergency room and then they would contact her (they would not contact her to sign paperwork for testing for my chest pains???). The following Monday, I called her office (as well as the diagnostic center) and we were both left on hold for expended periods of time. Very poor service for a critical medical matter.

I was able to get a quick appointment for Dr Hysa. She was pleasant and addressed all my concerns. I was really impressed with her and staff was very friendly. However, it went downhill from there. It's been over a week and I'm still unable to get the prescription and referrals that I was promised. I have called her office over 20 times in the last week to no avail. I was left on hold for 10+ minutes only to be forwarded to an outside message person who was supposed to relay a message to a nurse. I have yet to receive a call or my prescription. I had high hopes for Dr Hysa since I was referred by my coworker. My advice to anyone who is contemplating going there - DON'T if you need immediate assistance. The follow up is horrible. I'm highly disappointed.

Not sure why negative complaints..? I have not had any issues with billing , call backs, getting my test results. My exams have been thorough. I did a telemedicine appointment couple of weeks ago no issues. The only complaint is it is difficult at times to get an appointment.

Watch you bills and know exactly what she bills you for and tests she does or else you will get stuck with a big bill to pay! Had to drop her after 6 years of going to her becasue she does not listen and just cares about protecting her own butt and is scared to prescribe any meds although they may actually be needed. Stay away. Her staff is rude and lazy too. Long waits.

Dr Hysa is a very caring and knowledgeable Dr. She was my wife's primary and diagnosed a condition in my wife that we were unaware of. I was so impressed that I dropped my primary and Dr. Hysa became my primary. Unlike many doctors, she is genuinely interested in your well being. She has been my primary physician for a year and a half and I wouldn't change a thing! Dr Hysa is also the primary physician for my daughter and son-in-law. They are just as happy with her as I am.

The worst experience ever! After my husband saw her on Thursday and she said he is getting better, on Monday he went to emergency room with very bad infection and everybody was asking him why did you wait so long! Because it was not treated in time and it was very bad he was in a hospital for two weeks and two months of recovery! I just don't understand how she didn't see problem!
