Very Cruel After Switching Drs
I was a patient of Dr. Laurie Green while living in SF and moved 45 minutes away during my pregnancy and was convinced to stay and deliver with her. I had some weird bleeding while 30 weeks pregnant after a massage, called their office and heard nothing then had to go to ER where they prepared me to have the baby and was very traumatic and ended up leaving on strict bed rest. I felt more safer switching to a dr that was closer being put on bed rest. I then finally got a call from Dr. Laurie Green who basically yelled at me saying she heard I was switching drs and that the dr I saw wasn’t going to be the one who delivered me and “I don’t know much about the drs there but they aren’t equipped to handle 1st pregnancies for people ‘your age’ “ and basically my life could be in danger if I didn’t deliver with her + feel like she was the only dr that could handle my case. She very rudely said well if you need anything let and hung up on me. Very cruel to do to someone who just had a trauma.

A brilliant doctor, a kind, compassionate human
I was referred to Dr. Green many years ago for some surgery and have been her patient ever since. She is a not only an extraordinary clinician, but also a very kind, caring and compassionate person. A few years ago, she was the first to diagnose a potentially serious condition and to refer me to a fine specialist.

Dr. Green is the most amazing Dr I have ever met. If I ever had a question or worry during my pregnancies, she had a quick and thorough answer. She was available for every single one of my appointments and personally delivered all 3 of my babies. I had 3 challenging pregnancies and two deliveries that required the neonatal team. She ALWAYS made me feel calm and in good hands. I would always notice a difference in care when the hospital staff would discover she was my OB - Dr. Green runs a tight ship. She’s like a sergeant in the delivery room! During my last delivery, there were some complications. When she arrived in the delivery room, while walking in and standing about 7-8 feet away from me she said the umbilical cord was wrapped around baby’s neck. How she knew this, I have no idea! But she called the neonatal team. Explained to me what was going to happen. I delivered the baby. And her and the team got to work on him. I am forever grateful for her. She saved his life.

Dr Green was great, delivered both our son and our daughter. (Even went to her after we moved out of SF after our 1st!) Great communication, felt super comfortable and safe in her hands.

I wouldn't trust delivering my babies to anyone but Dr. Green. I feel safe in her capable hands. We would honestly commute to Sacramento if Dr. Green moved, we love her that much!
