The nurse and office staff friendly and competent. Never had a problem when I contacted him outside my appointments.

Dr Amato has great bedside manner...very personable and concerned to get you on the right track! One lady at the desk is a little brusk, but all other staff in the office are very nice.

His office is very cold & his staff. I've never had such high B/P in my life until I went to him. He would NOT listen to me when I told him I can NOT handle lots of meds & strong meds. In the past I only took 10 mg of B/P but he made me take 50 mg which I cut down to 25 mg because it made me sick. His nurse screamed & yelled at me why did you stop your meds while taking my B/P which caused it to go up to almost 190 (top #). When she could NOT find my veins, she would stick the needle into my arm & move it causing my arm to get terribly bruised. After 1 year with him, I found another doctor & I no longer take B/P meds & am very healthy now.

I have only been a patient for about two years. I am very pleased with the office staff, they are always very welcoming and friendly. I had to change doctors because of insurance changes. I thoroughly trusted my old doctor, ( I had been with him for 30 plus years), so I asked him for a recommendation, he recommended Dr. Amato. On my first visit I told doctor who recommended him and that he had some big shoes to fill. He definitely has done that. Dr. Amato in my eyes is the best. He takes his time with you and is genuinely concerned about your health. I recently was hospitalized and he was on top of my care the entire time I was in the hospital. I would recommend him to everyone.

My best doctor I have had in a long time. Past decades I have gone through 3 different doctors. 2 doctors was very mean and not attentive enough to details. Lack of active listening. (one was good but I changed insurance carriers and they didn’t take my type). I held my breathe until I met Dr Amato; and I can tell you. I feel so much better and comfortable. I hope he reads this review. Don’t ever change!

Dr. Amato takes the time to listen to you and to explain things. Never ever makes you feel rushed.

Very personable. Did not address a basic major health issue. Staff courteous but unorganized. Never seemed to know how much I was taking of any medication.

Dr. Amato has been mine and my husbands physician for almost 2 decades. Our children are now merging over to his practice as they enter adult age. He is always attentive and has a wonderful sense of humor. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Amato

I was miss diagnosed by my Cardiologist. On my 1st visit with Dr. Amato, he knew immediately how to make me feel better. Within a week I was a new person! Pain free and feeling amazing. I look forward to my appointments. Excellent Physician! His staff knows what they're doing, AND, they're very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Amato is personable, warm, caring and he has a fantastic sense of humor! He listens and responds. He makes me feel like a part of the family and takes my concerns seriously... and is proactive in terms of my care.
