Dr. Lawrence Frerker, MD

In June of 2019, Dr. Frerker was the first to misdiagnose me. I underwent a rushed procedure for cyst excision. As a result of this procedure, I experienced increased pain and swelling and went to the Swedish Emergency Room in July of 2019 to have an abscess at the incision site lanced and drained. After another unsuccessful and painful procedure in June of 2020 by a separate doctor, I was referred to a Colorectal Surgeon in November of 2020 who diagnosed me with an anorectal fistula. Dr. Freker's procedure for cyst excision was essentially cutting out part of my fistula tract and sewing it shut which led to increased pain and mental and physical distress. I have been going to this office for years. This year I had a death in the family that made it necessary for me to leave the state. My birth control prescription was out of refills. Instead of being understanding about my situation, this office refused to help me get the medication I use to control my PCOS. They offered no empathy and sadly the Walgreens worked harder to help me than my so called Health Care Provider. If you have insurance they will be more concerned with getting the money for your office visit than in actually ensuring a known health condition doesn't flare up and cost you time off work or even the job that is providing that health insurance. Also be aware that in my experience they are not available on the weekends. I have even gone online to schedule an appointment, only to have them call me back because the office is not open on Saturdays and the appointment will have to happen during regular business AKA everyone else's work hours.

I have been trying to find a solid general practitioner for years since moving to Colorado, and finally met with Dr. Frerker. So many other doctors make you feel like a burden, make you wait long, and rush the appointment. Dr. Frerker gave great advice, asked questions, and seems to genuinely care. His staff is also great and makes you feel very comfortable. I won’t be going anywhere!

We love this doctor. He has always been fair and honest, compassionate and thorough. Wait times have never been exceedingly long and they have always gotten us an appointment within a day or so. Lawrence has never given us anything less than his undivided attention, and he is an excellent physician. We were so sad to lose him as our physician when we moved away, but know that he will always remain our #1 choice no matter the difference. You will not find a better doctor anywhere.

Thoroughly pleased with Dr. Frerker. Very knowledgeable, took the time to comprehensively explore/address my medical needs, kind with a great sense of humor, straightforward with valuable insights. I feel a great sense of relief to find a doctor who I can trust and who makes me laugh at the same time. Staff was friendly, timely and competent. I feel very lucky, highly recommend.

Dr. Frerker is a caring, thorough doctor. I believe a doctor should not just treat your condition with the utmost competancy but leave you feeling uplifted after a visit, and Dr. Frerker does just that.

Fantastic diagnostician. Very thorough, timely, and generally cares about his patients. He is worth the 45 minute drive to get to his office despite numerous practitioners near my house. It's hard to find a family physician That will spend time with you.

One of the best, no make that the best docs I have ever had. Takes the time to talk to you. Not just in, do some tests give the chart a look see and out the door.

Dr. Frerker is the best doctor I have ever known. He is kind, thorough, very knowledgeable and spends time answering all your questions & you don't feel he is rushing you. BEST DOCTOR EVER!!

Have been going to Dr. Frerker for years but his recent care has been substandard to say the least. His care and medical knowledge for his patients does not meet the minimum when compared to other doctors. Would not recommend to anyone.
