Dr. Lawrence Kirschenbaum, MD

Dr. Kirschenbaum provided a pleasant experience regarding the ESI procedure he performed on me. After reading some negative reviews, I felt compelled to write an honest positive review to help others who might be skeptical. Kudos to Dr. Kirschenbaum for being very compassionate and skillfully precise.

I’ve seen Dr Kirschenbaum several times for severe back pain. He is extraordinary, easy to talk to, very reassuring, has a fantastic bedside manner, I would wholeheartedly but your trust (and your pain management) in this man’s hands. FIVE STARS

I was seen at the end of the day after going to their walk in 1 week earlier. It's a large cold looking office, no staff, unused space, empty desk, bare walls, lifeless. Staff was not friendly, the receptionist "tsked" when she had to get out of her chair to help with the kiosk. The nurse rolled her eyes and said "I guess so" when asked if my husband could come in. The exam room door was NEVER closed. The doctor came in, read his colleagues note and questioned me why a certain test was order. He shouted to his staff through the open door for all to see and hear. One test was cancelled and another test ordered. This is where the confusion started. I called daily for 4 days, speaking to a different person every time, test wasn't ordered, MD wasn't in office, test was cancelled and finally, "why don't you go to the hospital". I have no faith in this practice and question the safety of my health. As a retired health professional I do not recommend this office.

This doctor may know what he's doing but he's so arrogant, condescending & sarcastic, I'd never recommend him to anyone. Being in pain is bad enough, without putting up with this guy's personality!

Not sure about these bad reviews but I know they are incorrect and I am sure there are more patients that would agree. I have been with Dr Kirshenbaum and his team for 15 years and would never go elsewhere. You have to trust his process. I have had multiple surgeries/procedures under his care and they were all spot in.

Upon walking into the room,he never introduced himself and it was our first time meeting. He focused on the computer the entire time. Was very rude, condescending, and continually cut me off while I was speaking. He did not answer any of my questions, refused to give non-narcotic medication (even though it's helping), instead telling me he would only treat my pain with invasive injections. He then went on to say that he would not meet with me again to talk about anything other than injections.
