Inconsiderate of patient’s time
I had a 9:10 appointment with him today. I arrived 15 minutes early as requested. At 9:10 I was told that he is running late and would not be in until at least 9:30. I had a 10:45 appointment that I could not take a chance on missing. The guy behind the desk rescheduled me for 11:30. Again, I arrived 15 minutes early. At 12:00 I asked how long it was going to be. The gal behind the desk said that there was one other patient ahead of me. I told her that this was crazy. She said that Dr. Meiteles is very thorough. Very thorough is an excellent quality, but I think being very inconsiderate of your patient’s time is very disrespectful and very wrong.

An example of what it means to be a great physicia
My visit to Dr. Meiteles was initially prompted by some puzzling symptoms associated with a recent history of cardiological problems that had proven somewhat challenging to my physicians. There are a host of reasons why I found Dr. Meiteles to be excellent, including his knowledge, clinical skills, and friendly, caring personality. Additionally, and despite his pressured schedule, did not rush us as we went step-by-step through the required diagnostic steps. I feel grateful to have been/ be his patient.

Dr. Meiteles at first seems friendly and knowledgeable, but he is not. He performed a hearing device implant that was placed in the wrong spot on my skull; he said that it would go behind my ear and it was placed over my ear in the middle of my skull. I have had pain since the procedure. When I confronted Dr. Meiteles he just kept saying, "you should wear the device" seemingly ignoring my concerns. The first time after the procedure I mentioned the fact that the device was placed incorrectly he literally turned around, said nothing, and walked out of the room. A magnet was placed under my skin on my scalp and Meiteles told me the wrong information from day one, I later found out from a radiologist, that what Meiteles said to me, namely that I can have MRI's when needed if the radiologist reduced the settings on the MRI, but this was wrong and I gold him this. His answer was, "you can have CT scans instead to which I replied, CT scans are loaded with radiation so why would I want that?

i would not use anyone but Dr. Meiteles as an ENT. He is caring, concerned and takes his time to explain everything. After years of ear problems, i finally found a doctor who was able to help me. i suffered from hearing loss and at time vertigo. Dr Meiteles repaired my eardrums and i am finally able to hear normally.
