People always said that the knee replacement is the worst. well, Dr. Bloom replaced both my knees completely and I feel wonderful. I am 3 and 6 months out from having both knees done and I'm feeling great

I am seeing Dr. Bloom for a rotator cuff pain and probably will have surgery. He’s very caring and really listens to what is going on. I like when He always hands me a Kleenex when I start crying because I’m in pain. The goal is pain management for me and the surgery. I have recommended him to a few of my friends! Three months out from shoulder surgery. Recovery going very well. Dr. Bloom performed a rather complicated rotator cuff repair and I’m sure I’m on my way to complete recovery. Dr. Bloom has been a joy to work with. Pleasant, knowledgeable, and skilled with the tools of his trade. Couldn’t be happier. Also I’ve been impressed with the entire staff at Middlesex Orthopedics and Spine. Efficient, courteous and professional. From the front desk to the surgery center. I highly recommend this outfit.

Given his credentials it was no surprise that Dr. Bloom was highly skilled and very knowledgeable but I was pleasantly surprised that he was also warm and caring.He described my injury and treatment in easily understandable terms and was very respectful.I would highly recommend Dr. Bloom to anyone in need of an orthopedist!

Doctor bloom is such a smiling pleasant person to interact with, And he is very knowledgeable in his field, And helpful to his patients.

Dr. Bloom performed my ACL and medial meniscus repairs and I could not be happier with the surgery, his bedside manner and the recovery. I would go to Dr. Bloom again if another orthopedic surgery is needed.

Dr. Bloom is an amazing surgeon with a great team of medical professionals. He addressed all of my concern and discussed my goals beyond the surgery. The surgery was very successful and Dr. Bloom and his team made sure I had all the appropriate equipment for my recovery. That was probably the most important aspect of the care because I’m in recovery from drugs and alcohol. I have not even had to fill the narcotics prescription. Furthermore I hear from his office on a regular basis and if I have any immediate question I never wait long for a response. Thank you Dr. Bloom and team!

This is my letter to Dr. Bloom. Good morning Dr. Bloom, I think that feedback is very important, and it helps to improve things. It’s not a complaint, just my observations. It may help you and it definitely helps me to improve my communication skills. I was thinking of why our interaction didn’t meet my expectations and why I canceled the surgery. Often people talk, but don’t hear each other. Including myself, as well. I believe that I said multiple times, that I don’t have pain in my knee, but at my last visit you said, that my knee pain would go away after the surgery. You didn’t hear me, or I didn’t express myself clear enough. I came to you with a complaint of clicking in my knee. I expected you to examine my knee manually first, by bending, moving, twisting, to find when, how and where it’s clicking. You did an X-ray and MRI and I felt, like you were relying on test results only, not on physical examination. At my first visit you bent my knee once. At my last visit, when you had MRI results, you bent my knee a couple of times, heard a loud “click”, but didn’t do any further examination. Another thought – I felt that you were focused on the knee only, without looking at a full picture. What I mean – my posture and how I walk. I have flat feet and it affects how my knee is moving. The weight is not going straight through my legs but creates a twisting force in my knee. The shoe insert may be able to help to correct my posture and improve my knee function. We didn’t talk about it at all. I hope my feedback would be helpful to you. Thank you, Igor

Dr. Bloom performed an ACL repair. I felt safe, supported, and informed throughout the process both before, during, and in the weeks following the surgery. His staff was warm and compassionate and understood my anxiety leading up to the surgery and they were wonderful as I came out of it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Bloom to anyone.

All was good. Timely. Personable. PT very good. Thanks. However I often wonder what the thinking is around parking. Without a handicapped parking placard, I think it very hard to get in out of your building. Why is there no sidewalk in the front of the building?? And downstairs at PT as well??? And for those able why is there no bicycle parking to be found??

Dr. Bloom did an amazing job, 6 weeks post op from rotator cuff surgery and my shoulders doing great. He is very personable and cares about his patients, I would highly recommend him.

Important to have the ability to get updated X-rays during the visit for the most current information to be discussed.
