First Visit
The friendly and efficient staff stood out immediately. I was informed prior to the first visit that I would need a half hour to complete registration paperwork. Once that was done, I received X-rays and got a diagnosis. Dr. Kaback offered several treatment options. I will follow up and check in at my next appointment to explore other options if needed.

Two Rotator Cuff surgeries in 3 years!
Dr. Kaback is excellent; tells you straight what your options are and his surgical skills are great! Follow ups and rehab is overseen and he answers all questions. Highly recommend.

Always cheerful, runs on time, diagnosis problem quickly. Replaced left shoulder went extremely smoothly. Now treating arthritis and right shoulder very effective treatment would recommend to anyone.

Non invasive methods!
Dr. Kaybeck is personable and kind. I thought I might need surgery and he fitted me for a brace. Very happy with Dr. Kaybeck!

'Working with' patients matters, too.
I don't like having to bang my head against the wall to get a physician to give as much consideration to my quality of life as to the 'Which arm will I operate on first?' question. In my first appointment, Dr. Kaback didn't demonstrate any understanding of, or curiosity about, how right or left arm surgery was intended to impact my quality of life. He seemed to consider the issue as 'an elbow issue.' I don't care what he thinks he said in my recent appointment. If a doctor thinks they're operating on a 'part,' they're not on my care team. This is why I go to Boston for my care, because they care.

Dr Kaback cares about his patients
I had fallen and landed on my elbow and I was referred to Dr Kaback. From the moment I met him I could tell how special Dr Kaback was. He had an amazing bed side manner. On the first visit he took X-rays and said surgery was required. I was very hesitant to have surgery but Dr Kaback made me feel very comfortable and assured me he would take care of me. He even set surgery on his normal day off and did a great job. I am a couple months after surgery and Dr Kaback would follow up to see how I was doing. He is an amazing man and I was very fortunate to have met him. I highly recommend him for your orthopedic needs.

Good experience
I was referred by Urgent Care after I fell and injured my shoulder. When I called the office, I was offered an appointment that afternoon. I was seen promptly. He explained everything and I have follow-up in 2 weeks.

Poor care
I went to OrthoNY as recommended Dr Kaback for my appointment over the phone. I went to my appointment to discover Kaback wasn't showing interest on patient care. Kaback had read the my chart before seeing me. Then, went to look at my neck. At that point, Kaback stopped listening to what needed to be addressed. After Kaback left the room, I over heard clearly him talking about my details of medical condition.
