Dr. Leela Maxa, MD

Dr. Leela Maxa is extremely knowledgeable regarding breast cancer treatments and I highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a Radiation Oncologist for breast cancer treatment. She addressed all the questions that both my husband and I had. I never felt rushed and her bed side manner is very comforting to those of us in this difficult position. I felt that she carefully listened to my concerns and explained all the vast medical terminology present in my reports in real layman's English so I could truly understand my condition and how to proceed with my treatment. Before walking in, we didn't know what to expect but after we had consulted with her, we walked away with confidence and peace that she was spot-on in her recommendations regarding my treatment as well as also the hoped for opinion. I don't have enough characters left in this review to list all her praises, but I felt like God led me to her and in my opinion, Dr. Maxa ROCKS! 1,000 stars indeed! Thank You Dr. Maxa!

I had the choice of going to an in-network radiation oncologist not specializing in my breast cancer situation, but chose Dr. Maxa as a breast health specialist and I'm so glad I did. She and her entire team were well trained, educated and particular about my specific needs. They used the most up-to-date info and procedures. I have a great deal of confidence going forward that I am in the best health position I can be now. She may be the only breast health specialist in the immediate Lawrenceville area, but I'm so glad to have such an experienced and qualified doctor for my care. My visits with Dr. Maxa was ok, I say this because I only saw her once a week (for 4 weeks). Her supporting staff that assisted me daily, Priya and all of the other wonderful ladies, are AMAZING!!!

Dr. Maxa and her staff were excellent to work with. Breast cancer and radiation treatments are very unknown and scary to most of us but they explained thoroughly and I was always treated with complete kindness. I would recommend Dr. Maxa to anyone going through this. I loved my girls who did my radiation treatments, they were great. The day I rang the bell when my treatments were completed was a wonderful day and my husband was able to join me.

For 30 visits I have met with nothing but professionalism, caring, punctuality and concern about my well-being. Dr Maxa and staff are outstanding, no question or concern are too small or dismissed but addressed in a meaningful manner so I can understand what is going on and why

First of all when I called Dr. Maxa's office I was welcomed by Marisol! She was competent, caring & very efficiant. Dr. Maxa was extremely patient & answered many questions that we had. Sandy (Dr. Maxa's nurse) was very kind & professional. My technicians/nurses were Bernadette, Priyanka & Kimberly & I couldn't have asked for a better team to take care of me.
