Beware
Dr. Leland Scott is the worst doctor to go to if you really want someone who takes any amount of time to truly analyze your symptoms or concerns. He talked down to my husband and myself. He seems not to care about the spouse/wife who has concerns for husbands health. Very rude and dismissive. He is an avid pill pusher and will prescribe medicine like it’s candy. Be prepared to never hearing back from him if you have a question about the new meds or side effects. You basically are ghosted. As stated he is arrogant, condescending, and really could care less. Don’t waste your time. Go to a different neurologist.

I have been seeing Dr. Scott for almost two years now. If it a decent doctor but seems very overwhelmed & has empathy problems when it came to me. I saw him maybe a day or two after my medical issue happened & he never offered any caring words or anything. I expressed my concerns with starting on such a high dose of medication & he basically laughed at him. After that first meeting my husband refused to come back to his office. He seems to have a slightly issue with young women from my point of view. Over the past two years I have repeatedly tried to talk to him about my future in terms of becoming a mother because he wanted me on these meds forever & I told him we would like to start a family soon. He looked at me & said “don’t get pregnant” & that was how he wanted to end the conversation. No empathy towards me and no suggestions to work towards my goal. Also I have known the man for almost two years & see him at least every 3 to 4 months & he says my name wrong every single visit

Dr. Scott Leeland is a horrific MD who was on call last night. He refused to assist me. He did not even triage me. This was at 9pm. I was unable to keep my epilepsy medication down. I have epilepsy and covid 19. Every time I cough, I vomit. I made 3 attempts to swallow the anti epileptic pills and they came up each time. The on call nurse for my primary care doctor refused to connect me with the on call physician. I called Minneapolis clinic of neurology, because covid was impacting my ability to take my pills. When I was sharing this with Dr. Leeland he was argumentative and stated, “I find that hard to believe.” He then HUNG UP without providing me with a solution stating “this is for your primary care doctor.” Who does that??

I went to Dr Scott on a recommendation, but I have a movement disorder which perhaps isn't his specialty. Not quite certain what is. Never performed tests or sent me to another doctor. I keep going back every 6 months though just chatting because I need him to keep my prescriptions going. Probably good for some conditions- but definitely not movement disorders. Glad so many are having good experiences. I call him my dealer. Do blood tests, get pills.

Very poor service and follow up. Dr. Scott is a capable Neurologist but he is far too busy to be attentive to his patients. As an example the first appointment took over 3 months to get plus after a review of MRI and scheduled treatment it took over 2 weeks to get the necessary documentation to proceed with any treatment The last part was after repeated phone calls asking for what his assistant called simple paperwork that should only take a day or so to get.

I saw Dr. Scott for an unusual neurological problem with my feet and he spent an hour during his clinical exam, scheduled two tests, then spent another hour explaining what I had, scheduled yet another test which I will see him about shortly. He is extremely detailed in his exam and analysis of my problem and while I am still not sure of the outcome, his patience and curiosity about it, and the time he takes, makes me certain his the right person to obtain the best result for me. He's the best.

Dr. Scott has correctly diagnosed a low-back disc rupture, when my own G.P. had misdiagnosed it for 8 months. I have referred a friend to him, and he is amazed at Dr. Scott's thoroughness, curiosity, and relentless pursuit of the right diagnosis. He is a genius!

Dr. Scott is very knowledgeable and thoroughly explains my diagnoses and thoroughly shows and explains results of MRI's and other scans and tests in a language that is patient-friendly. I have had 5 major back surgeries and he has been able to explain the source of my neuropathy and pain and also has explained the best solutions for my conditions. He is the one specialist that I have complete faith and trust in!

I had been to numerous doctors including several specialists for a painful ear condition that felt often like someone had punched me in the ear. No one could find anything wrong and they just said it's fine. Not Dr. Scott- he kept searching for answers and he is the only one who took my complaint seriously. He figured out the cause and got me set up with the right person ( ironically a physical therapist) to help the issue. He knows his stuff! A big thanks to Dr. Scott!!
