Dr. Lena Widman, DO

I am almost 60 and Doctor Widman is the best Doctor I have ever had, She was also my elderly mother's Doctor until she went into hospital's care and she was fantastic with her also answering any question and actually listening and caring about her patience, she is the best doctor in the state of Michigan you will never find one better.

She's told me: the meds you're on combined with marijuana could cause resp. depression. I'm worried about your heart [never had problems]. I will only re-prescribe the amphetamines. [All in one appt]. Staff's told me: The dr told you she won't re-prescribe amph. Going off of dextroamph. all at once isn't life threatening, so it's fine. You may feel some fatigue, then you'll just "feel normal." Have you tried breathing exercises or yoga? -Avoid this dr 4 mental health. It makes her uncomfortable.

Stares at the computer screen more than she listens to patients. Frequently contradicts herself. Constantly referring back to how she did or did not learn that during her residency. Immediately treats patients as untrustworthy/asks no questions to get to know you, your character, your past (medical or otherwise) before making important judgment calls. Seems to have no experience with mental health. Has told me things that were contradicted by 3 other doctors I see. Generally unreasonable.
