Dr. Leo Otake, MD

Dr. Otake and his entire staff made a horrific diagnosis into a good experience some how. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed a double masectomy and had reconstruction. They were kind and patient and even fun. I am beyond grateful. Even the staff at Stamford Hospital were happy to work with Dr. Otake.

ODD Untrustworthy InsultingI went for a consultation w/ Dr. Otake. Office failed to contact me to say he was in emergency surgery. But I returned the next day, he was very personable but asks a lot of questions about personal life. Assistant Leslie Bauer gave me pricing after, said I could call/meet for more questions ANYTIME. I called a few times no response. Last time I didn’t get to speak w/ her to ask a Question but was told she will speak w/ Otake & get back to me. Odd- I didn’t get to ask a question. Never heard from them again. Insulting & a Waste of time.

His concern and compassion for my situation have been incredible. When it came to making himself available to help me with nose job, and rhinoplasty reconstruction, Dr. Otake went above and beyond. His staff is kind and professional. He treats his patients with real concern and a great bedside manner. I couldn't be more content.

My sister and I went to Dr. Otake for our breast surgeries as well as other cosmetic procedures. She had a mastectomy and wanted a reconstruction. I wanted to change out my implants, have a lift, tummy tuck and butt lift. He was incredibly professional, compassionate and did an incredible job for both my sister and I. A once crushed and devastated woman, my sister is back to herself. We both look more than fantastic and our self esteem is back to several decades past. I cannot praise Dr. Leo Otake enough.

He was the highest recommendation by several dermatologists. He continuously has removed various BCC & SCC always with minimal incisions, clear margins & great results always. I cannot recommend him enough.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Otake for an evaluation of a 2nd degree face burn on my forehead and ear. He explained what type of 2nd degree burn it was and the healing process. I especially appreciate that he used examples/analogies to help describe the status of my skin so that I had a better understanding. He picked up on my worry and confusion and took the time to carefully explain everything and to answer all of my questions. He was friendly, empathetic, knowledgeable and patient. I had seen two doctors prior to him (at an ER and burn center) and one afterwards (at a burn center) and he was easily the best one. I am really glad I found him. I plan to return.

He was friendly, knowledgeable with a terrific bedside manner. I was scared to death but Dr. Otake made me feel at ease!
