One Star is too nice? Dr. Bynoe is a Nice Man, a poor Doctor! Its been 2+ years and I finally completed my cornea transplant at Bascom Palmer Eye Hospital in WPB. I wish I would have gone there first! I can finally see well enough to report my position. Am I upset, YES! One visit at Bascom Palmer Eye Clinic In WPB and I would have been done. I went to Dr. Bynoe to remove a black floater. after 4-6 laser treatments, multiple injections and 2 retina detachments leaving me 90% blind in my left eye I went to the #1 rated Ophthalmologist Bascom Palmer in the USA right here in S Florida. After viewing first had the latest Eye treatments Dr. Bynoe's facility is old school compared to today's technologies. His method of treatment is questionable. Do not mess with your vision, Go with the best forget the rest!

My experience was very bad. He don't prepare you with the next step he is going to do on you. He had to inject my eye and don't do his preparations before he put the clamp on my eye (clamp to open eye) so that he can inject the eye, (so I sat there on his chair and wait with this open eye, for him to finish his preparations with two injections). He don't tell me what he is going to do, so that I can prepare myself for what is coming. So he was very harsh on me. He sedated my eye - after 15 minutes he put the clamp in my eye and wipe something over the eye - then I want to tell him that I felt the wipe because I was scared he inject me and the eye is not well sedated, then he tells me in a harsh way:"Don't talk!" I didn't know that I shouldn't talk! I grab my husband's hand and he said again "I said, Don't talk!" He didn't have any patience with me - it was very traumatic for me AND my husband? Sorry Dr Leon Bynoe, I know you know your job very well but THIS "treatment" isn't for me...

Did Retina surgery to repair a pucker. Excellent results. Through follow-ups. Experienced, professional, attention to detail, takes time to explain options and makes suggestions in ways the lay person and easily understand. Grateful for his expertise.
