Dr. Leonard Cohen, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Cohen for several years to help treat my Chronic Migraine Syndrome condition. He’s very caring, knowledgeable, attentive, Always On top of new medicines & procedures. Highly recommended!

Excellent!!! Dr. Cohen is an extremely competent doctor and also very kind, caring and excellent listener. A wonderful human being. The best thing about Dr. Cohen is that he listens carefully to the patient and respects our point of view as a long time and chronic patient with multiple health issues. This is a rare combination. Most doctors nowadays are only concerned about getting patients in and out of their office. But not Dr. Cohen. Highly recommend!!! Thank you!

3 month check up and renewal of prescriptions. I made sure Dr. Cohen knew I'd had no seizures since our last visit. He personally sent a refill to my Pharmacy. Because it was a controlled substance, his staff couldn't do it. He asked about my wife, who is also his patient. At the end of the visit, he said, ' This has been a pleasure. '

Refreshing to find a specialist who really listens to the patient. Dr Cohen is concerned about his patient's health and well being. We had a wonderful experience in our first visit. He explained the upcoming tests and their input for a diagnosis and treatment plan. A truly genuine person.

His kind clear respectful manner of talking and explaining things! Most grateful to have a neurologist I trust and know is one of the very “best!”

I actually complained to him about the miserable vibe with the re elation area. Rude and entitled. Just horrible. No eye contact— lack of patience-smug and incredibly unwelcoming…..like I’m bothering them by showing up to my appt. Nothing good to say at all——- except that I really like him or I’d never go back.

Dr..Cohen is nice and decent doctor his staff is a disaster!!!Starting from the front desk people who are rude and will never let you speak to the dr going to the nurse that has no clue what she is doing to an office manager that simply doesnt care! If you would like to make your migraine worse a visit to this office will definitely do it!

Dr. Cohen saved my life when I resided in South Africa. He was my Neurologist at the age of 23. I had an aneurysm/stroke. He was absolutely incredible. Years later, he moved to America and soon after we landed up in the same state of Florida. Today Dr. Cohen treats my mother wears early stages of Alzheimer’s. He has the most incredible programs that are offered for patients that need help. He is very passionate and involved with you as a patient and takes great care. He is up-to-date with all the new technology and very innovated.Dr. Cohen is not your normal neurologist. He takes special care with every attention to detail. Recommend anyone who needs help and who has neurological problems and also whose families have Alzheimer’s. You really need to see him. He is a tremendous force in one’s life and we’re so happy that we have now Made the decision to move forward in some of the trials that have offered . Alzheimer’s very hard illness and not only the person who has it but the families and the carer so it is so important to have a good Neurologist that is a support for you and has different ideas of technology and you that come in all the time. Dr. Cohen has great bedside manner. Listens and tries the best treatment and diagnosis. My case was not easy, and besides knowing when to refer me to the right specialists was able to find the cause of my headaches which they have been blamed to sinus infections when that has never been the cause for them. He is thorough, kind and understanding. Rare qualities in some doctors in Florida.

The office staff is very kind and Dr. Cohen is one of the most knowledgeable doctors I have ever encountered. I would and will recommend him to anyone who needs a specialist in Neurology

Incredibly good! Dr. Cohen is certainly one of the most 'down to earth' doctors you could ever have in your corner. Honesty, directness and respect are the attributes that stand out. He also has the trait of being as happy as his patients when giving good news, while explaining the next steps to be taken if a test outcome is less than favorable. Wonderful doctor!

I adore Dr. Leonard Cohen. Why am I receiving a letter of "No Longer Participants in Humana?" Why am I getting these letters? I have an appointment in January, 2024. I'm very upset. I need information why.

He was the only physician who actually took an interest in me and listened to my history. Went above and beyond explaining my condition. He was the first doctor to give me a diagnosis about symptoms I have had for 2 years.

He never got up from his chair to do any neurological checks. I saw other MD’s checking other patients eyes-vision, hearing, walking or at least checking the patients. I. received no such care. He did nothing but advised me to be greatfull and stop complaining about my condition, nothing can be done. In other words, he did want to hear about my symptoms or why I was there. Also, he is unable or willing to help. He wanted to repeat expense tests and order other expensive tests without an evaluation. I walked out of the office feeling nothing was done, more questions, no answers; and wasted $300 in these Covid times. Do not waste your time or money. He is not there to help. Look for someone else. I feel he was there to be paid not to help.. sad.

Staff was incompetent and rude, did not know office procedures, kept yelling over me on phone and refusing to provide basic information. Wasn't able to make appointment. Doctor seriously needs to consider firing entire staff.

Extremely thorough; cares about his patients; would recommend him over and over again.

If you need Dr Cohen to back you up on a medical claim. He will tell you what you want to hear before he drops you as a patient. Gives you Pain Management Medication and claims you've been cured. Joe Kocher
