Rude Unprofessional Staff
Dr. Cosmo’s clerical staff are all rude, nasty and unprofessional . They don't listen when you attempt to talk to them. Theres only one person who deals with prior authorizations. I had called in on Dec 16 and Dec 17 to inform them that I was out of my medication. I've been out of meds for over 2 weeks. First, I spoke to a rude lady at approximately 916 a.m., and when I called back then the rude man at the front desk told me he would called Walgreens with reference to my medication. I never heard back from them. They have absolutely no sense of urgency. Beware if you are thinking of going to this office. I really respect and admire Dr. Cosmo. Dr. Cosmo should replace every employee in that office ASAP. Today is Dec 30 and still no medication.

Very rude office staff
Never made it through front door. Very rude young man that works for him. All ready not feeling well and they think we have to put up with rudeness. Think again. Hoping the doctor knows what an incompetent staff he has.

I've never been met with such INCOMPETENCY!!
This office staff of 5 is rude - probably because they're shorthanded, & over worked. They don't listen! Theres only one person who deals with prior auths & calling Rxs in (& they send her on vacation at the begining of every year which is when PAs are usually due), & that is one confused lady! I've been out of narcolepsy meds for months, & there's absolutely no sense of urgency. Insurance asks for the same information every year & its like she's never done this before, so the prior auth keeps getting denied. I finally got a PA approval (for a new med I've never taken & didn't want to start taking) & it has taken them 3 days to submit an Rx to the pharm company! At this point I'm desperate! STAY AWAY if you know what's good for you!! I think Dr. Cosmo means well. He calls to follow up with patients, however, he needs to hire more staff, & listen a lot better.

Not A Good Experience
Was assigned to Dr. Cosmo by Workers Comp. and it was an experience. The office is filthy dirty and looks like it hasn't been upgraded since the 1970's. It was during COVID and not a single staff member, or the doctor had a mask on. One would think that a pulmonologist would require masks during a respiratory pandemic. Staff are inattentive and rude. Doctor Cosmo took my history. Did not order any tests, or sleep study and the only thing he did was write an Rx for a new auto CPAP machine. If it wasn't for keeping my Workers Comp claim open I would not return to this doctor.

My dad, brother and I have been going to Dr. Cosmo for 15 plus years. However, I admit the staff could use more training and provide better customer service. Dr. Cosmo always does a thorough examination and explains what he is doing during the examination and why. He genuinely cares about his patients and is very pleasant. My family is always greeted by him with a big smile on his face.

Staff is rude and has zero sense of urgency. They barely acknowledge your presence. Every appointment I wait atleast 50 minutes. Apparently Dr sees too many patience for the time allotted a and the patient has to suffer. Whatever you do NEVER have anything going on the same day because you will waste your time in the waiting room. Unless they are at lunch, they kick people out of the waiting room and lock the doors.

l've been seeing Dr. Cosmo for the past 4 years and treated me with his best technology. He has been very nice of taking care my needs. I am an Asthmatic COPD patient even though I haven't seen him in 2 months because of my old insurance. My new insurance will allow me to keep him as my doctor. I really appreciate his help.

I don't know if Dr. Cosmo is a great Pulmonologist, I never saw him nor will I now. As a new patient, I was told by reception they were on lunch and was given forms to fill out. After waiting an hour, I went to the desk and was told 2 more people were in front of me even though I had an appointment an hour ago. The reason I was not called was due to not signing in when I first came. in. Why have appointments then? If I am a new patient, tell me what I need to do, don't expect I know.
