Dr. Hays is a patient, caring and knowledgable cardiologist. He has been treating me since his residency in 1996. He was always professional and sensitive to my issues and he listened to all of my concerns and always addressed each one. I wish him well on the path he chooses next.

Dr.Hays is a great doctor. He explains everything in a way you can understand it. He takes time with you and never rushes you. I think he is one of the best heart doctors in Chattanooga

Dr. Hays is great but office staff needs help. They called to cancel an appointment that had been set for six months on the DAY of the appointment! When I tried to discuss this issue with the office, an employee named Amy was especially rude, angry and unprofessional. On another visit, we signed in and sat in office for 2 hours. I finally asked about appt and staff informed me we were not on the schedule. We had to leave without seeing the dr. He seems to have a very high turnover amongst staff. If he could hire professional office staff, I would rate him much higher.

My husband has heart problems in his mid thrities. No other doctor thought it was his heart. He was a very serious and large blockage in a difficult spot in his artery. Dr Hays saved his life. He later had more blockages and again Dr Hays was excellent. He's wonderful with families, explains things, is very thorough, and I can say for a fact that he cares about his patients. He gets to know you and develop a relationship with you. When you see him, you know you're not just another chart.

Complete lack of communication by Dr Hayes and his entire staff. Was given OK to wait until after June 19th to have procedure by Dr Hayes, and then when they tried to plan it for the 17th was dropped from Dr Hayes' care for refusing the procedure when I told them I couldn't until after the 19th. This is the third mess up by this office, and now I'm left without a heart doctor. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Negligent and uncaring staff and a doctor who doesn't care.

The moment Dr. Hayes came into the room, I felt a calmness.. Dr. Hayes has a very gentle soul. His initial exam was the finest, I have had, from any doctor. Very thorough. He , successfully, diagnosed my problem.
