WORST OF THE WORST
If you’re in the market to waste your time by being talked over and ignored, insulted, and left empty-handed while being made to feel less than human… have I got the guy for you! If I could’ve left zero stars here, I would. Rude, uncaring, and cruel. Also: it tells me all I need to know about Bethany Medical that they keep someone like this on staff. Hard pass, Bethany.

Did not let me tell him what was going on. Didn’t listen to me. I felt judged by him. Didn’t offer any other ideas to help treat my pain. Made me feel like I was a drug seeker.

I had no problems with Dr. Tananis and I would recommend him to anyone. Dr. Tananis understood that people hurt and he listens to the patient and if it wasn't for him I don't know what I would have done. I have been looking for him ever since they shut down the practice he was at. The place I went to they took me off everything and I am in so much pain I need him bad. Please tell me how to get an appointment with him , He told me I could come to wherever he was if I wanted to. Please tell him.

I found Dr Tananis to be amazing !! Yes I saw complaints about followeing procedures w/ pain meds . YOU ARE GOING TO FIND THAT EVERYWHERE!!government regulations ,all pain dr's are giving out contracts ..follow them or hit the road . Dr.Tananis was compassionate ,and many many patients LOVED HI M !! Mostly the only people, that answer these, are patients with a chip on their shoulder !!

He is very strict, but that is a good thing when dealing with pain patients. He has had more success handling my condition than anyone in last ten years. I have only experienced one minor disagreement, but overall you can trust him as long as you follow the rules. He doesn't pressure you into unnecessary procedures, and overall recommends only treatments that he feels will help. I recommend him for anyone who is having trouble.

Dr Tananis i thought was going to be a great pain management dr, but I was wrong. I had physically seen him two times. I had to leave my past dr due to insurance change. I have had the same health issues for 13 years. I have tried literally every treatment outside of surgery. If you go against what the dr. Wants you to take due to having past difficulties with the medication, he views that as a difficult patient. He stormed out of the room telling me to never come back. Now I'm drless.

I went to see this guy on 6/20/2016. This was a follow-up visit. So, apparently this Doctor was not able to get my medical records from my previous provider (although I signed the release for this to be done with the other provider months ago!) Dr. Tananis proceeds to tell me that since he was not able to receive these records, I should go back to them. He then just walks out of room! I go to the front desk to get my co-pay back, they act like this was not unusual, and refund my monies.

I would never recommend Dr Tananis. Do not go to him if you are overweight, even by 10 pounds. His most common advice is to lose weight and your pain will go away. There are multiple studies that prove that is not true. He also seems not to believe in psychiatry. If you're seeing any type of counselor he will demand access to records and then pretty much quote from them on your next visit. I found this very unethical as he does not have any type of psychiatric training. Not much of a phys.
