Denied Appointment
After 'reviewing' documentation sent by a wound care center for osteomyelitis, appointment denied! Said to follow up with MedStar docs, well thanks for nothing. The MedStar docs were booked up which is the reason for looking for other possibilities for such a serious diagnosis. I hope you don't have a family member in need of specialty care to only get denied - but what goes around comes around!

I had covid and Was in upper Chesapeake for 9 days , in icu . I Never knew I saw this man in the hospital . I had a 220 bill and I’m having to go to court . They served me papers . I am a nurse who’s dedicated herself to care for the sick . I am speechless . With all due respect , **** you doctor

I would never use this doctor again. He did not address my concerns, was very flippant, and was trying to stifle yawns the entire time, while speaking with him. He was no help, and at the end of the visit, tossed the chart on the counter, and told the staff, “no follow-up.” You would have thought with my concerns for my health, that he would have at least offered me another visit to see how my symptoms were. I wanted to discuss with him my concerns, but he did not give me that opportunity.

Dr. Girio-Herrera is a fantastic doctor! He is very kind and takes the time to answer all questions. He made me feel at ease about my diagnosis. His assistant, Jamie, is the best. She is also very kind and accommodating. I couldn't ask for better care.
