I am 49 and over the recommended age for ICL, but I was still a good candidate. My power is high, and Dr. Z guided me through the pros and cons of ICL vs Lasik. I chose ICL and it has been life changing. No glasses..no contacts. AND it is a reversible procedure. It has been 6 weeks since my surgery. Recovery was quite easy. I have been cleared and can now go swimming. Dr. Z is always just a phone call or text away if you need him after hours. He is always smiling and proud of his surgical success stories. Went in for both eyes on different days. Day after surgery on right eye my vision was better than 20/20 and everything was sharper. On the followup of my left eye (noticeable cataract) my vision was much better but not as good as the right. After my 30 day followup I found out my left had improved to equal my right eye. On the day if surgery I warned Dr Z that in 50 years I have never put any drops in my eye. Almost broke the speculum! Same for the right eye as well! Excellent work. Thank you!

Dr. Z performed my ICL procedure and it has been completely life changing! I was anxious before the procedure, but Dr. Z was very reassuring and took great care of me. The procedure was quick and painless. The healing process was short and simple. I still have a little halo in one eye, but it’s bearable. I am one month post-op and Dr. Z said the halo would likely go away over time. I am so incredibly happy with my results. I would highly recommend Dr. Z for any eye procedure!! I would also recommend ICL to anyone looking for freedom from glasses or contacts!

Dr. Z was so nice, funny, and professional and the surgery was so easy. I walked in for a consultation after 18 years of having a -10 prescription in both eyes... a month later I walked out of ICL surgery and now I can see 20/15 in both eyes!! I had Dr Zlotcavitch remove my cataracts and put in lens. He explained everything. Made me feel very comfortable with eye surgery. The instructions pre and post op were clear. He told me pros and cons of the surgery. I highly recommend Dr Zlotcavitch. It was one of the best experience I have had with any doctor ever.

I was a special case. I was s little frightened to be honest but Dr Z explained what and why we thought this cataract surgery would help. It has been three weeks. Dr. Z is amazing!!! I had cornea scarring from overuse of Contacts wearing and Dr. Z was able to overcome that issue and get me to close to 20/20 vision. No more reading glasses or contacts for me. Very pleased with my results. Even Dr. Z was impressed considering how bad contacts had damaged my eyes. Highly recommend this world class and world renowned eye Dr.

Dr. Z did my ICL 4 months ago and it has been completely lifechanging. I was a -6.5 in both eyes beforehand and now my vision is better than 20/20!! The procedure was very quick and totally painless, and the healing process was a breeze. I still have a little bit of a halo around certain lights, but it's not much of a distraction, even while driving at night it's not an issue at all, and Dr. Z said they would likely go away in a few more months. I've been recommending ICL surgery to everyone I know!

From the first appointment, Dr. Z’s and his team was awesome in every way. I am 5 weeks out of surgery and my vision is phenomenal. Thank’s to Dr. Z no more glasses. From getting to the surgery to leaving was a little over an hour. The surgeon and all staff were extremely helpful and answered all questions both before during and after the operation. My vision is now better than it ever was with glasses or contacts and the healing process has been very quick!

Dr. Zlotcavitch and his team are absolutely incredible. My prescription was too severe for both LASIK and PRK but I was able to get ICL. This worked out for the best and I could not be happier! I was concerned about having dry eyes from LASIK and PRK, but ICL does not cause this since it is implanted in the eye and not altering the surface of the eye. Plus it is removable should you ever decide to go back to glasses and contacts. Surgery day went smoothly and my vision was clear the next morning. Even the remainder of day one, my eyes felt completely normal with a hydrating eye drop on occasion. Thank you so much Dr. Zlotcavitch & Team! You all are amazing.

Upon recommendation of my doctor, I saw Dr Zlotcavitch (Dr. Z) who asked a number of questions and did a battery of tests. Each person on his staff was friendly & compassionate explaining all procedures & answering all questions. Dr Z asked what outcome I desired and discussed my treatment. Between and after visits, staff followed up with phone and text contact. Other doctors who supported & worked with Dr. Z we’re friendly, thorough & very complementary to Dr.Z. I felt very well taken care of.

I had a right eye cataract extraction. Start to finish, the whole process was seamless. Communication was excellent. The staff took great care of me the whole time. And Dr. Zlotcavtich is definitely one of the best in the biz. Explained everything and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed for the surgery. And he has a great sense of humor. My right eye is like brand new, crystal clear and 20/20. Dr. Zlotcavtich is my hero!!!

Dr Zlotcavitch performed clear lens replacements (intraocular lens transplants/cataract surgery with no cataracts) to correct my lifelong +9 prescription and did amazing. I have 20/20 in my better eye for the first time ever and my weaker eye is also corrected better than it ever has been with glasses or contacts. The results even surpassed Dr Z’s expectations, as he told me ahead of time that he felt confident he could give me great vision from arm’s length out but may need a LASIK touch up for reading vision, but I could read with only my weaker eye during the week between each eye’s surgery. I would never have been able to read with my weaker eye only through glasses. I’m 44, so extremely young for a cataract surgery and was terrified, but the surgery was quick and painless and my vision was excellent within 24 hours of each surgery. I have a 14 year old son with the same vision and will be taking him to Dr Z in about 8 years. Highly recommend for atypical vision situations.

Dr Z did my cataract surgery. I have been in glasses since 5th grade. Was initially going for lasix but it was determined cataract was the best option. Thanks when I met Dr Z. He’s very personable and easy to talk to. Loves his job. Office staff is top notch.

Wish I could give more stars. My expectations were exceeded more then can explain. I have been given clear vision both near and far.
