Excellent Doctor
I can breathe again, thanks to Dr. Yin. He fixed my nose, now I can smell the rose. Thrilled to be minus that crazy sinusitis. When in need of a Doctor of ENT, then Dr. Yin is the one for me. I breathe deeply now, with gratitude profound, and heartily recommend this doctor renowned

Excellent experience
Dr. Yin was able to quickly and gently remove plant matter from my toddler's ear. It was right up against his eardrum. I was so impressed!

Very Grateful
After suffering with a chronic cough for nearly a year without any resolution I made an appointment at Valley ENT due to information I found on their website. At my first appointment with Dr Yin I received a diagnosis, prescription and plan of action. Dr Yin was very knowledgeable and efficient, explained to me what he was doing and described what he found. I am very grateful for the care and treatment I received.

Poor experience
My former ENT retired so the scheduler recommended Dr. Yin. I was very clear that I wanted my throat checked and scoped as I suffer from LPR and I was having throat and tongue pain. This was never an issue with my former ENT. Upon arriving, I was told that Dr. Yin was ' very conservative' about scoping patients and, in fact, he refused to do it to check my throat. He barely checked my throat at all and was dismissive. I have since found another ENT and will not be returning to this practice..

I saw Dr. Yin Leopold for what he called on abscess in my throat. To me it looked like some sort of tumor. However he proceeded to remove it in his office with a scalpel and hemostats Without even so much is a biopsy. Within a week it came back so he put me on anabiotic’s. those failed, put me on another anabiotic that failed and put me on a third. My girlfriend who is a pharmacist decided This guy has no clue what hes doing. We went to another ENT (Dr. Chaung) and a visual inspection from 3 feet away told me it looks very much like cancer and asked me why I waited so long to come to the his office. I told him the story and he explain to me there are good doctors and bad . The next morning i was on the operating table having my cancerous tonsils removed. The next step for me was a full thickness pharyngeal at the mayo clinic in Scottsdale. do not go to this doctor or have any of your loved ones go. everything this quack did was wrong from start to finish.

I can breathe!
I wish I would've come to Dr Yin 2 years ago. Instead of who I was seeing. Within 1 week he had a diagnosis and plan of attack. All I can say is that the results are life changing! I would recommend this guy to anybody who has had sinus issues .

It would be a zero rating if it was available. I wish I had searched for reviews before agreeing to see Dr. Yin for oral thrush. He seemed rushed from the moment he entered the room and I felt he was condescending toward me in his manner. I do not recommend him.

I had a referral to get my tonsils out through Valley ENT. The Dr they referred me to was in Scottsdale so I reached out to a closer location and happened to set an appointment with Dr. Yin. Dr. Yin looked at my tonsils and agreed I should have them removed. He proceeded to explain the procedure to me and talk about how painful the recovery it. He was very blunt, and I can see how some could see him as condescending, but I can't tell you how much I appreciated it. Most doctors I have dealt with don't even take the time to explain the important details or prepare me for what to expect. I would highly recommend Dr. Yin, not based off his personality but his dedication to doing it right and setting up patients with proper expectations.

All office personnel were great but NOT Dr Yin. He came across as very arrogant and condescending. Was told to use Flonase and if I wanted hearing aids, go back to his office for that and not Costco or Miracle Ear, etc. didn’t address tinninuo at all. A waste of my time and definitely will NOT go back to his office.

I cannot express to you how much I do not respect this doctor. Call me crazy but is it too much to ask for any doctor's office to be a safe space to share your concerns and struggles that they've been trained to help you with? Instead i was met with judgement and a lack of decent communication. Dr Yin was nothing but condescending and patronizing. At the end of my appointment, all he said was that i needed surgery and they would refer me to who would do it. I had to run after him out of the room to ask what surgery and he turned to me and said it with a look on his face like he knew I wouldn't remember the name of it. I was shaking with anger after that visit. Never went back. Dr. Fucci much better.

I was referred to Dr. Yin for his expertise in vocal cord paralysis. He was helpful in explaining and treating me for the first year of my paralysis. However, when it was apparent that my paralysis was permanent, he did not advise any other procedures that we had researched, namely type 1 thyroplasty. So 4 years later I learn that thyroplasty is recommended by another group of ENT doctors. The surgery was successfully performed and I have my voice back again. Seek a second opinion if Dr. Yin's advice or treatment is not successful.

I took my 8 year old daughter and he treated her with no respect. She was scared and nervous and he showed no compassion for her. She was referred by her primary doctor for a procedure and then he refused to do the procedure that was recommended. He wouldn't answer any of my questions and acted like I was wasting his time. He was condescending and rude. In the end we had to leave and find another doctor that would do what my daughter needed.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Yin today. He is very condescending and patronizing. He acted as if his time is being wasted. When I let him know my concerns for my child he told me I was wrong. When I tried to ask other questions all he did was pull up a website. He did not want to take the time which is pretty rude since my daughters apt was check in at 8:15am and apt at 8:30am and they did not call us back till 9am. I will be calling my ins to get a new ENT for my child.
