Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your health care needs. The office is an absolute disaster. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter 3 months ago with Dr. Cotto. We called every month before the appointment to see if they could fit us in sooner. The date of the appointment 2/22/2024 at 1:30pm, when we got there they told us the appointment was canceled since the doctor was not there. They did not give us the courtesy to call and speak to me or my daughter before we arrived. They pulled out a letter dated 2/6/2024 that we never received. If we had received that letter, why would we be there for the appointment? I don’t believe they actually mailed the letter. They swear they called and left voicemails, but we never received any notification. Seems they never actually made the call and they certainly did not leave any voicemails. How do you even consider canceling an appointment that has been waiting 3 months?! They have no consideration for anyones time or health. After having done blood work 2 days prior to be ready for this appointment and taking time off at work, they cancel us onsite! The only option they gave us was to get on waiting list! or next appointment in mid April! (5 months from when we first called to schedule.) They handle their appointments/patients as if they were a hair dresser or nail salon. After 3 months of waiting, this has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had in my entire life with a health care “professional”. I never imagined a health care practitioner cared so little about the health of their patients. Do yourself a favor by going somewhere else where you are treated as a patient and not a number. I will never recommend Dr. Cotto or any other doctor from this office. If they allow these types of issues, can you imagine having to deal with a serious health problem with themi?

If you reschedule an appointment twice, they blackball you from their entire practice. Meaning, you can never see one of their doctors. Terrible business practice but glad I found out how they operate before I became an established patient.

Dr. Leslie Cotto and Nurse and Ultrasound technician Mariela is far and away the best endocrinologist and her team. She is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable and friendly, compassionate and caring person, and truly outstanding endocrinologist. We can count ourselves truly lucky to have her, we have been patients of her since she started in practice. Dr. Cotto truly care for endocrinology health and well being of her patients. Dr. Cotto is very atentive to the details of your health. She investigates each and every possibility to maintain and increase your health to its best possible level. I am dealing with multiple endocrin issues and am so glad Dr. Cotto is my endocrinologist.
