Dr. Leslie Doctor, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Leslie Doctor for cataract and replacement lens surgery. I had the Vivity Toric lens inserted in both eyes, due to my astigmatism. I had the surgeries done 1 week apart. Although I am still healing, I can drive, see twenty twenty and read text messages, only 2 days after surgery. For reading a novel, I will need minimal readers. I am thrilled with the results of the Vivity Toric lens. In addition and most important was Dr. Leslie’s bedside manner. During the entire process, she was very kind, compassionate and kept me informed. Her expertise and experience make her my number 1 choice for an ophthalmologist.

Dr. Leslie is excellent but her billing staff is not. Was due a refund for a duplicate deductible payment from a February appointment and did not receive it until June 10th. Communication with the billing personnel was totally unacceptable with false and inefficient follow up over that time period.

Dr. Doctor has been my ophthalmologist for almost four years and performed my cataract surgery. Because of severe myopia, I used to be terrier of eye doctors. No more! She is gentle, compassionate and a thoroughgoing professional, and I am proud to refer her.

Dr. Leslie Doctor is everything you'd hope to find in a physician, from her very personable and professional manner, to her complete explanations. She takes her time and answers all of your questions. She is great at anticipating your questions and often answers them before you get to ask them. It doesn't take long to realize you are in exceptionally caring hands with a doctor with extremely solid clinical skill...the perfect combination.

We were referred to Dr. Doctor by our eyeglass shop. She is excellent and very thorough! Starts by looking at your eyes and asking detailed history questions and proceeds to a thorough exam. Most definitely would recommend- our new favorite eye doctor!

Dr LESLIE DOCTOR is a true professional,shekind,caring and extremely knowledgeable and very clear in explaining all aspects of the visit. My wife and I have used DR&ASS SINCE 1979 first with dr Leslie’s father then her mother JUDY and now DR LESLIE. This memorial weekend my wife developed a severe eye infection. We called the answering service who relayed the info to dr Leslie at home. Within five (5) minutes we received a call from DR LESLIE who on MEMORIAL DAY MONDAY 5/31/21 up an appointment at her Westport office for 9:30 am and successfully treated my wife’s infection. What other doctor on a national holiday would see and treat a patient ???? DR LESLIE WOULD !!!!!! Thank you and god bless you

Absolutely not: 1) I arrived 15 minutes early as I was asked, ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes without any apologies. 2) some members of the staff were WEARING THEIR MASKS UNDER THEIR NOSE, AS WELL AS THE DOCTOR HERSELF. 3) they DIDN’T CLEAN PROPERLY the material between each patients, using a small alcool wipe for a large surface. 4) Dr. Doctor simply copied my old contact lenses prescription that I brought with me and yet charged me for a full evaluation ($110).

I’ve been seeing Dr. Doctor for many years, she is a wonderful physician and a wonderful individual. Extremely knowledgeable, kind, comprehensive and clear in delivering information.

This person ruined my eyesight performing cataract surgery. Both eyes are cloudy and I understand a laser procedure can fix that. However, my left eye has been swollen for four and a half months and she has no clue as to what to do! I am now searching for a doctor who can identify the problem and fix my eye...right now it's disfigured, swollen and the pain I have had since the surgery is awful. NEVER go to this practice

I had the best experience at Dr Leslie Doctor's office. The stuff is extremely friendly, and the results after my cataract surgery were beyond my expectation. I am a very happy patient, and will be definitely coming back.

This is a very inefficient office. It looks like they over book their appointments. I had to wait 55 minutes before my name was called. The technician did all the tests in 10-15 minutes and then had to dilate my eyes. Right after this I was waiting another 35 minutes. I asked for a doctor once and was told she is with another patient. After waiting for another 10 minutes I had to leave for another appointment without seeing Leslie Doctor. Came for lasik correction but it was not done right. After that, many follow up appointments and each time, I had to wait for at least 45 minutes. will never recommend this office or doctor.

Excellent in every way. Ironically, even my barber sees her, and we agree, she is the best.

One and done. Came here after previous doctor retired. I'll never go back. This place is s factory. Standing room only waiting room. Herded around from one technician to the next. And, finally you spend less than five minutes with one of their doctors, who has zero interest in you ... she's just trying to keep up the pace and see the next six patients who are waiting. The only thing this place was good for was a forehead pimple (I hope that's all it is) ifrom the dirty frame for your head.
