Supplement interacted with prescription
I purchased the supplements that Dr. Temple advised only to have several unexpected side effects. At the following appointment I realized she didn't pay attention to the prescription medications I was taking (for years and are part of my medical record). She realized that I shouldn't have been advised to take one of the supplements! Very scary for me. This should not have happened.

I have seen Dr. Temple several times and she is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. She listens intently and advises a treatment plan based on research. While your initial appointment may be months in the waiting, it's definitely worth it.

Was told there is a year wait list so "accepting new patients" is quite a fib..no? Also, you were supposed to ask for what treatment...if I knew that I wouldn't need you.

While possibly good at gut issues and treating the whole body, Dr. Mendoza-Temple's knowledge of medicating hypothyroid issues is akin to that of your average endocrinologist - sadly outdated (treating by labs, not symptoms). I really had high hopes that she would be educated better in these realms since she is in an integrated practice, but no such luck. Despite being quite a lovely person, she seems overworked and overbooked and frustrated because of it.
