Dr Gottesman has the peculiar skill of finding the right balance of being friendly and professional at the same time. Dr. Gottesman has a very calm, reassuring, professional manner. He took ample time in carefully explaining my problem and discussing his treatment plan. The surgery, though relatively minor, was just as he had described, and my recovery was uneventful. My experience was most positive, and I would highly recommend Dr. Gottesman to anyone with a colorectal problem.

Technically, one of the finest colorectal surgeons in the country. Excellent clinician - empathic, caring, listens well, explains well. Very old school manner - when doctors really established communication with patients. Excellent knowledge of medicine and keeps current on latest developments. Quiet, somewhat reserved personality (at first) but very thoughtful and honest.
