April19, 2025 Dr. Porter was so knowledgeable about blood pressure meds. I had not had contact with her before, but she has been helping out at Primary First with my own doctor: Dr. Arian Dayani. I had called him about switching meds because of side effects. She called me! She was thorough and was able to reassure me that she had picked a medicine she felt would comply with my situation. I so appreciated her expertise and professionalism. I was trying to see if I could get an email to contact her and tell her “thank you,” and how much I appreciated her contacting me. Dr. Poret's receptionist just called to tell my husband his CT scan shows he has a brain tumor. The woman who called couldn't even pronounce the finding--We asked to speak to the doctor or at least a nurse but were told they were busy. She said Dr. Poret advised him to see a neurologist, so we asked for a referral-and we were given the name of a doctor who is a back surgeon-not a brain surgeon! Obviously, this doctor doesn't care about her patients.

I saw the arnp I can't remember her name, but I really liked her. She listened attentively and addressed each of my concerns. The office staff was friendly and everything went very smoothly.

Dr.Poret is my kind of doctor. Nowadays when most doctors run an assembly line, in and out in 3 minutes, instead of a practice, Dr.Poret takes the time to listen and answer your concerns. I would not be a patient of hers of over 14 years if I was not happy with her. Bottom line: you get well after she sees you. Her staff gets an A-plus!

I love Dr. Poret, her NP and staff. They are always nice. I saw a rating here abt the Dr being belligerent, I'm thinking it was the patient not the Dr. Dr Poret takes time to listen and does't just throw a random drug at you. The wait isn't long, the patients range in age too.
