Dr. Lev Asherov, MD

Called a week and a half ago cause my blood sugars have been in the 3 and 400s. Still haven’t gotten a response. Seems like the doctor always has other things on his mind. I’ll b looking for a new one

Dr. Asherov is an exceptional internal medicine doctor. From my very first appointment, they demonstrated a high level of expertise and genuine care for their patients. Dr. Asherov took the time to thoroughly listen to my concerns and provided clear explanations for all aspects of my health. Their diagnosis and treatment plan were spot-on, leading to significant improvements in my condition. I truly appreciate their attention to detail and willingness to answer any questions I had. I feel confident and at ease knowing I'm under the care of such a skilled and compassionate physician. I highly recommend Dr. Asherov to anyone in need of an excellent internal medicine specialist.

Dr Asherov is the most caring hard working understanding incredible doctor that Pueblo has and the people of Pueblo are incredibly lucky to have him.

Dr. Asherov is clearly superior to the other doctors I have used since i moved to the area 9 years ago. His staff is not so good about giving him messages and/or returning calls but the Doctor is top notch.

We were in the middle of a very serious diagnoses on my wife who was in Extreme pain and the medication prescribed to her by doctor earlier was not working, we were asked to come to the office which we did, we requested something stronger, and was told yes. and sent to Emergency for X-rays and Blood work around 10 am, but at 11:00am that day (Thursday), Doctor became MIA When I called the office we were told he leaves at 11:00am for the weekend and we have not heard for him or his office sense it's been 4 1/2 days and I took my wife to emergency she is now in the Hospital with a serious condition, and it has taken 3 days to get her pain managed by the hospital staff, and her condition is now being referred to a Specialist in Denver because we were told by the Neurosurgeons that her condition is more serious then what the Hospital in Pueblo can correct. She was referred to a Specialist but we still have been unable to get his name from the Hospital Doctors, Still Waiting....

Have recommended Dr. Asherov to family and close friends. Highly professional office.

After a major back surgery, my regular doctor left to practice elsewhere, so I called Asherov to see if he is taking patients and described my need for a follow up to the back surgery since the surgeon will no longer see me. One week later no return phone call from Asherovs office. No response to see if he is taking patients. Great customer service dont you think? Good to know this now and not later.

For many years we have benefitted from Dr. Asherov's care. He is very skilled because he keeps up with the research and conscientiously integrates the findings into his practice. We have found him to be courteous and patient. It is nice that he spends more time paying attention to us than consulting a computer. His questions are right on point and his explanations are easy to understand. If we have concerns, he listens carefully and comes up with an appropriate solution. Also, we have found his his staff to be professional, polite and informed. In our experience, they are always helpful. For instance, paperwork issues are handled promptly and correctly, and phone calls are returned quickly. In short, "patient care" is a premium value in Dr. Asherov's office.

I LOVE Dr Asherov!!! Having worked in the medical field for 30 years, I hold doctors to a much higher standard than most patients. I know how to talk to them and tell them exactly what's going on. Dr Asherov is very easy to talk to and he listens!

Dr Asherov has been my primary care Dr since 2011. The past 4 years I ve had a difficult illness that has made my entire health deteriorate ..He has worked diligently to help me with my symptoms and he listens to me when medications bother my stomach or other problems. I highly regard his office staff as they listen and try to help as well. Though he has very many patients it is kind of difficult to get seen sometimes..

Dr Asherov has knowledge and is caring in his treatment of my health, I very much appreciated his treatment plan for my aged sickness I.e. diabetes hbp,and cholesterol. Unfortunately I asked hard questions of the front office receptionist and was discharged from further office treatment for future visits, nothing to do with Dr Asherov, was just trying to get my wife registered for Dr Asherov but was denied enrollment

Be very careful when dealing with his staff. One wrong word and you will be banned from this office. Out of 7 appointments over the last 3 years, 3 have been rescheduled at the last minute. 2 of these visits were after driving through hazardous winter conditions for an hour in order to make the appointment before being notified. Dr. is rushed, does not fully explain. Staff slow to follow up, will not return calls left on voice mail.

I live in Pueblo last 14 month. I had before two doctors in Pueblo City and I choice Dr. Lev Asherov. Dr. Asherov provides any treatments friendly and has good skills. His recommendations are adequate. He does not abuse for new prescriptions, just medicine what really help. He answers for any questions regarding current health.

Dr. Asherov and his staff are caring and attentive. He listens and considers various approaches before making recommendations. His staff replies to phone messages promptly and are always pleasant. I feel comfortable discussing all matters with him and know he'll give me an honest opinion. I would not hesitate recommending him to friends an family...and in fact I have!

Dr. Asherov has been incredibly attentive to our family during a difficult medical diagnosis. He has gone far above and beyond in providing statistics, guidance, care, time and concern. He has been understanding and forthcoming, yet sensitive in dealing with not only the patient, but all of the members of our family. He is an amazing physician and person. Great care given and received! Kudos to Dr. Asherov and his staff!
