Dr. Leyda Delgado, MD

Dr. Delgado is a very honest Dr. she does have a tendency to be loud, however, that is just her demeaner, she speaks clear and is concise. I have been seeing her for 4 years now. I am appreciative of her candidness.

Dr Leyda Delgado, used to be my PCP but on every single appointment she rushed out the room and afraid of me asking questions. When I was trying to ask a question, she just rushed out of the room, and not answering it. Very disappointing.

I have been a patient of Dr Delgado for over 6 years, she has gone above and beyond to care for me and my family. As our primary care doctor. She literally save my life during the pandemic. I could never thanked her enough.

Leyda accused me of drug seeking behavior over a muscle relaxer I was refilling and pushed gabapentin, an addictive drug that shuts down your nervous system. She started screaming at me and my mother watched and tried to calm her down to no avail. She apologized later blaming her “latin heritage” for her outburst. The hospital apologized but never reprimanded her because she lied on her report and used my mental heath past against me. She should not be allowed to practice medicine.

Dr Delgado, Leyda used to be my PCP but on every single appointment she acted hurriedly and when the SouthShore wasn't accepting my health insurance anymore I didn't hear anything from her. Even a letter. I was informed over the phone a day before my next appointment with her and that's it! Very disappointed with South Shore Health and Dr Delgado ! I don't recommend both!

Dr. Leyda Delgado was extremely rude to me and unprofessional. I went in to see her for an urgent care visit due to extreme pain I was feeling in my lower stomach, lower back, and pelvis. The pain also ran down my left leg. I was experiencing bleeding even though I take birth control consistently without taking my placebo week and she still tried claiming I was just experiencing a period and refused to do a cervical swab. I explained to her I haven’t had bleeding since being on the birth control and told her multiple times the pain wasn’t cramping it was actual pain and she still disregarded everything I said and claimed it was just my period. She also was getting annoyed with me due to my anxiety and threw her arms up and stood in the middle of the room and said she couldn’t do anything until I relaxed. I later tried asking her a question through MyChart, she claimed she’d send a gynecology referral for me but she never did and she made it so I couldn’t ask her any mor

Dr. Leyda Delgado is an outstanding MD: during my first visit she asked relevant questions about various areas of my life that contribute to my well-being. In addition, her review of my medication was extremely helpful. Dr. Delgado is engaging, thoughtful and highly professional. Dr. Delgado took time to listen to and address my medical concerns. And, her experience as a medical practitioner is among the best I have ever experienced. I highly recommend her and her entire practice.

No bed side manners No respect for patient concerns No basic courtesy or manners Does not know where to draw the line Asks too many irritating personal questions that are nothing to do with the condition She has some issues herself I wouldn’t recommend Find a better Dr ! Don’t waste your money
